Word is that the Raiders are expected to sign QB Seneca Wallace. QB Tyler Thigpen also worked out for the Raiders.

Wallace might not be good, but he's better than a lot of the quarterbacks he's held a clipboard for. Good choice of a backup imo.

Agreed. Can't believe Seattle signed Quinn over this guy, especially since Seneca is more like RW3 than Quinn is and knows the system.

Matt Hasselbeck should be making some calls to the Bay Area. Jim Zorn, too. He needs a job, right? Maybe he can make some coffee? Go out and buy a scone for Dennis Allen?

I'd buy a scone for Dennis Allen, by the bye.

Interesting acquisition. To me, it shows a lack of faith in Terrelle Pryor. I still expect Reggie to draft a QB sometime in the draft so, the depth chart would be pretty crowded. And Pryor was not a Reggie pick.

OR maybe it means we had 2 QB's on the roster and we will need 4 going into camp!!

They get a better player and keep their 7th round pick.

I didn't know Seneca Wallace won the Heisman and 2 National Championships.

I didn't know that mattered in the NFL

Decent signing for the Raiders. Still they need to get a legit starter before the season starts. Wallace and Flynn are good backups but not legit starters.

Eric Crouch won a Heisman, is he better than Seneca Wallace?

Silly silly counter.
