I like Dion. He always played well in the preseason and then never got any carries during the regular season, unless the game was already over. He has decent hands out of the backfield and will give effort as a blocker even tho he is by no means a good blocker, but he's also not the worst despite his small stature. He isn't a real home run threat, but he does have shiftiness and vision to occasionally break off a 20 yarder. He is below average as a return man, but should make a solid #2 RB if you actually give him a chance to run it and he's also a solid option on screen passes. It'll be interesting to see him run behind Clevelands OL, especially if they can get a good OG in the draft.

I wanted the Jets to trade for Lewis. I would have preferred him over Joe McKnight.

Ogbonnaya is still in the league? Awesome! He was with the Rams for a short-time and for some reason I always liked him. I'm genuinely happy he's still getting a paycheck in the league.

This reminded of this great youtube video of Emmanuel's brother, Sam, who plays for the Cardinals.

That was possibly the most adorable thing Ive ever seen from an NFL player.

Props to Sam.

With Kelly going to the Eagles I thought Dion Lewis would be a good fit in his offense, he seems to like that smaller/fast guys. Hm.. Glad to see Acho getting another shot somewhere else, I always rooted for him as a longhorn.

All i can say to this is:

A) Are you kidding that you really care?

B) That thread is about one team [Eagles] placing a player on the block from a week or so ago and this thread is about the Browns and Eagles making an actual trade with two players, of course there should be a thread. Also the other thread isn't even in the first page anymore.

C) If you don't like a thread, not just in the news forum but in general, just don't enter it, don't let it bother your life.

It's just funny that you get away with this crap.

Why didn't you update the other thread with "Eagles trade Lewis to Browns for Acho"? and make in front page news?

Why for some topics do you insist that their be a second topic made for when the news is official (only generally when you didn't post the original topic) and then other times you merely update the original topics and claim they are different situations?
