Are there really going to be any DT available in the 2nd round or lower that will come in straight away and fill the obvious gap we have at the position?

I think we have more potential for our existing WRs to step up than we do for our DTs to step up.

I'd rather have a difference maker on the DL in R1 with a CB in R2 and a prospect at safety and depth on the OL from the lower rounds.

For any Keenan Allen fans, he failed a drug test at the combine.

Isn't it Jerry Richardson who has the philosophy of not drafting players with character issues?

If it is then it doesn't matter whether the GM has been through a draft because the rule will still be in place.

Allen didn't fail a drug test. Was just red flagged and has to do it over again (guys in NFL Draft forum can explain why better than I can). No biggie.

Usually, Jerry is hands off on the talent search; sure he probably puts guidelines into place and trusts his GM to make good decisions about players.

Then how did Marty Hurney stay employed for so long??? And it was the big cat who put that in place, not the GM. "GOT EM"

I agree they have to give Cam some weapons before his contract runs out or I just cant see him staying here in Charlotte. Tavon is small but his playmaking ability could be great.

I would rather see them trade down pick up a 2nd and 4th and grab Justin Hunter with a late 1st round

I believe if we are unable to trade down, we will pick one of the players below. I think with the Revis trade Rhodes will fall to us. Vaccaro and Patterson will be there at our pick too. Really like Patterson and what he could bring to the table but I don't think the FO will pass on a CB like Rhodes.

1) Xavier Rhodes
2) Kenny Vaccaro
3)Cordarrelle Patterson

So it may be Rhodes and Norman as our CB tandem for years to come.

I doubt we take a CB in round 1, Gettleman has not given any sign of looking at that position in round 1, especially in FA.
