Jury is still out because we don't know if Griffin is ever going to be the same or if he can be an effecitve QB without the athletic aspect of his game.

No question the jury is still out but the fact that we won the division this year's pick is not as high as most Rams fans thought it would be. Literally I talked to Rams fans last year and every one of them thought this years Skins pick would be top 10. So if next year we win the division again and a playoff game or two the Rams to me are the losers on this trade.

Here is something else. no question they will get better, but since they have SF and Seattle in their division, we essentially gave our picks to a team that will beat up on two potential opponents for us down the road in playoff contention.

Early return results for the Rams:

After trading out of #2 to #6, they traded down again with the Cowboys getting #14 and #45. With #14, they took DT Michael Brockers (13 GP, 12 GS, 31 TKL (20 SOL), 4.0 SCK, 1 PDF, 1 FF).

When it came time to pick at #45, the Rams traded down again, getting Chicago's #50 and #150. With #50, they took RB Isaiah Pead (15 GP, 1 GS, 10 carries, 54 yards, 3 catches, 16 yards, 2 fumbles, 1 fumble lost). At #150, they took G/T Rokevious Watkins (1 GP, 0 GS).

Now, Brockers looks like a stud at DT, but Pead got pushed under the depth chart by Daryl Richardson last year. Perhaps with Steven Jackson leaving, he'll get more playing time. Watkins was injured in practice after week 1 and was put on IR, but could be in a competition to win the starting left guard this year.
