Per Bob McGinn, Matthew Mulligan's contract details out as:

$715k base + $50k signing + $30k roster +$25k workout = $820k 2013 cap hit.

Cap Space = $16,532,399.75

That's probably the least amount of space we have. Our actual cap space may be a bit more, closer to $17 million.

Excellent work. I'd meant to respond earlier but was otherwise occupied.

What do you think about adding a Minimum Salary Benefit column? It'll make keeping track of the available pool easier and sticking it in as a negative roster bonus seems odd.

I learned from @Jason_OTC that the NFLPA calculations use last seasons participation to determine LTBE roster bonus numbers rather than assuming 100%. His numbers are lower for Nelson and Kuhn for that reason. I've also got a lengthy, complicated sheet that explains his numbers for Raji in detail, but I hadn't fully explored it earlier and haven't gotten back to it since.

And then there's Rodgers roster bonus. Every description I've found has not mentioned it, but we'll see.

One more thing, Chaz Powell. Does anyone have a guess what he'll really be? He was a jack of all trades at Penn State, safety not being one of them.

Yeah, better athlete than football player. Tough SOB that will leave it all on the field though. ST's are his only path to making a 53 though IMO and I know Powell very well.

Will do a full update tonight, but based on RD's numbers for 52, I show 14.7 cap space this yr (closer to 15.5 per NFLPA's). After the rookies, I show 9.9 (10.7).

2014 cap space: $29.9
2015: $77.3
2016: $106.3

Updated. Could throw in Means and Cunningham at minimums, but I don't believe the official numbers have come out.

I've got this for Means (but can't find the original source -- sigh):

2013: $405,000 ($288,000 split if IR)
2014: $495,000 ($318,000 split if IR)
2015: $585,000

edit: Hmm, I think I just copied over Tavecchio. Sad

The details are in the "Details" link which should take you to the Google Docs.

Hmm, would be cool if you could get a link. Haven't been able to find something. Right now I've plugged both Means and Cunningham at the minimums.

Can someone take a look at Rodgers' contract and let me know why most sites aren't crediting him with a $500K roster bonus?

Looking at Nelson, he seems to be using a 150K roster bonus instead of 200K as I am. Not sure where he got that number from.

He has Kuhn with a $393,750 roster bonus and I have him at $450K.

And the reason I don't want to use the Minimum Salary Benefit column is because it would take up extra space for not many entries. I do have the Minimum Salary Benefit pool included in the summary and will include the amount in the Notes column.

Does the rookie pool include ufa? I don't know if we even need to use their money toward the cap.

I'm a novice at many of the cap rules, but even I know that the supposed cap "hell" the Packers are in is nothing but haters hating.

Is there any place out there that actually has the rules for the salary cap, because I'd be interested in checking it out?

Updated for the releases of DJ Smith and Brandon Saine.

DJ Smith will cost $51,576.00 against the cap this year.

Brandon Saine is entirely off the books.

No it doesn't count UDFAs, but this already only includes the Top 51 salaries, which is how the cap space is calculated throughout the offseason.
