Hello all. I've been selected as the General Manager of the Oakland Raiders in FFMD 13 (the second part). I'm excited to get a chance to work with all of you during this event. That said, I will need the help of the entire forum in order to put together the best draft possible.

Interested users should PM me with FFMD 13 somewhere in the title. Please include previous FFMD/Mock Drafting experience and a list of desired positions.

Here is a link to the rules of this draft:

I'm proud to announce my assistant GM is...SanDiegoRaiderFan. I feel his experience as a GM in FFMD will help us immensely. There are still plenty of available spots, so don't be afraid to sign up by either PM'ing me or posting in this thread.

To others that have inquired, I plan to list your positions as soon as I have enough members to round out the staff.

Your thread has been sticky'd.

(I'm glad I still have such authority)

I'm never really that far away from the forums. Posting just hasn't been that much of a priority (real life getting in the way and all). But, I'm working my way back in, or at least intending to.

I won't take up any more of your thread, though. Do us proud!

Glad to be back on board. After the 2011 season, I went into a big funk about the Raiders and basically sat out last year. I hadn't posted in over a year but am now encouraged by what Reggie is doing in real life. I'm happy to help Jamethus out and hope everybody else in the forum gets involved as well.

One question that I want to pose to everybody: On defense, do we go for a 4-3 or a 3-4? I see the staff did a good job converting to a 3-4 in FFMD I, but that was before our real life signings on defense. I think we should build a 4-3, if for nothing else to do something different. Any thoughts on that?

Ah, understood. Remember, this draft won't be as complicated since there is no salary cap and no free agents can be signed. Any input at all helps!

I've tentatively placed our Trade Block in the GM Mock Draft Forum. The only names on there so far are Rolando McClain (for obvious reasons) and Tony Bergstrom (who I feel is better suited for a team with a ZBS). Any objections or potential additions?

I really think that our hole roster should be on the trading block except Veldheer, Wiz and Houston.
You should listen to any offer to any player IMO...

Unless they are more lax this time, they probably won't allow us to trade the players we just signed as free agents as that would be too unrealistic.

What I've found is that teams in this really overvalue draft picks and they also like quantity over quality. That means that we might be able to pick up a solid player for cheap, say one of our three 6th round picks. It also means that it's going to be more difficult than in real life to trade down from #3, or at least get fair value. I'm going to approach a couple of teams, but I think we have to assume that we're going to pick at #3.

Everyone please welcome Bone_Collector to the staff as the offensive coordinator! This is a position he requested (but there might be room for advancement before its all said and done. Wink )
