Thats a 3 person operation. I dont think Gambino would do that to you!

Also think Pettis needs to be on the block.

Only reason I hesitate putting Pettis on the block is we know he can play the slot and trading him leaves us with only 2 wr's who saw game action last year. I'd trade him for the right offer but I don't think we should actively shop him.

Agree. Dont give him away but hes definitely expandable. Put him on there so teams know that. Given the DT depth in yhis draft, Id also trade Kendall Langford for the right deal.

For those on staff, how do we feel about this deal?

Quote:
Carolina sends:

#14
RB - Jonathan Stewart

St. Louis sends:

#22
#78
OG - Harvey Dahl

Thoughts?

I'm conflicted. I'd hesitantly vote yes but I'm not entirely sold.

Don't worry. Sean Payton would pass the ball in a Tornado.

But would he do it in a Sharknado?

Does anyone know Stewarts contract off hand? That could be a deciding factor. I love the trade of Dahl for Stewart and moving up in the first in the process. #78 is likely worth that for me, provided Stewart's contract is less then Dahls

For 2013, Stewart would only count $715K against the cap for us with Carolina taking his $2.5mil roster bonus. However, in 2014 he is due a $1.5mil base salary with a $9mil option. So, we would need to work out an extension for him. But in 2013, it saves us well over $3mil.

Want VPoPP or HC?

What all comes with the VPoPP?

Can you PM me with details. I dont have a computer right now, so I'm not sure I really can take on a job that takes too much detail or time right now.

Well I could always use my work computer. Twisted Evil

The only thing holding me back is Stewart's medical. RB's with chronic foot/leg/ankle problems are really concerning.

Definitely a concern. As is the $9mil option bonus.

We'd need to work out an extension with games played and rushing yard escalators.

Laughing Nice sell job!

I think if we changed that 3rd were giving up into a 4th, I'd be for it.

Add your 6th(184) just to make me feel better and I will submit it to our staff.
