I'd say no. Chris Clemons could be had though.

Arthur Jones would be a solid pickup, but are we putting Bennett at UT?

How much would Clemons cost?

We'd have to talk about that as a staff, but I'd say no less than a 3rd.

Yes on UT Jones.

Clemons for an early 3rd and 6th. That's my counter. Or no deal.

if we got Jones I'd say Jones at UT and Bennett at LE. Jones is over 300

Seattles 3rd for Arthur Jones and Baltimores 4th. Yay or nay? I'm a yes. He would start for us at UT here and provide a nice blend of pass rush and run stuffing. He's young and had a very good season last year. The only downside is we'd have to resign him after this year.

I don't know how in depth this is but I'll do it if he agrees to a long-term deal with us. It's a full round drop but we have two thirds after the Bryant deal right?
no we just moved from the 25th pick of the 2nd round up to the 3rd.

There isn't restructuring in this, but I'd feel ok making the move knowing in real life there'd be a stipulation he would have to agree to a long term deal

I'd take a 3rd for Clemons in a heart beat. We'd still have Irvin, Avril, Bennett, Mebane and Arthur Jones (maybe). It would suck to lose Clemons but he is entering the last year of his contract isn't he?

I'd be fine with trade. Our 3rd for Jones and their 4th? Pull the trigger. We have so little draft needs it doesn't matter as much anyways.

I also feel Detroit's 3rd is fair value for Clemons. We could press for the 6th, but I'm not going to get into a back-and-forth over it Laughing

I'll see if my staff is interested in Clemons and if so hopefully we can get a deal done.

I would be fine with a straight up third for Clemons. We have enough depth to the point where he is not as needed as he once was

An early 3rd and a 6th gives us ammo to move up back into the 3rd if we need too after the Jones trade.

Regardless your all terrible negotiators. I would have said "oh your offering an early 3rd..... what else you got?"

Plus since this isn't a salary cap type mock. Then we really should have put it on them. Clemons healthy is a top 7 DE.

what? I didn't even say I want a 3rd and only a 3rd Laughing I said at least a 3rd is required.

I think what's more reasonable is a conditional 2014 pick. I know, not fun for this year, but it makes more sense.
