Yeah TE is definitely something we could explore. Kenney PM'ed me his list and he said the same thing. I am cool with that.

BTW, I think we should use code words like the other team boards use when they are talking about their picks. That way we can all discuss the draft at the same time instead of separate PM's.

It's easiest if we base it off of, say, one person's big board/prospect ranking. A specific position can be denoted by a letter and a specific player can be denoted by matching a letter-number combo that denotes position + that prospects specific ranking.

Other ways I've seen it done include giving players random names (Greek gods, famous authors, etc.). Make it simple and make it impossible to screw up.

Let's use Hey Arnold names! Laughing

Geno as Harold!

That would be even better. Laughing

So far I have put Ben Tate and the 27th pick on the trade block. If you guys have any of players you feel should be on the trade block, let me know.

Raiders GM Pm'ed about trying to move Rolando McClain for a 6th round pick or player. Since we have 2 6th's I think I will consider it. What you guys think?

He's a no go for me. We can draft someone better and who can contribute on ST's

Not on staff, but as a Texans' fan... I would vote against that as well for same reasons as LJC

Salary cap is not an issue, so i think a 6th for McClain would be a steal, he has not lived up to his hype as a 1st round pick, but we will not be drafting someone in the 6th as good as mcclain

he is only 23 years old and has 250 career tackles...you cant tell me that he cant be a 4th ILB/4th OLB...he has the size to play outside in our system...defiantly worth looking into

All great points Pastor, but your 3rd/4th string whatever position needs to be a contributor on ST's. So, while he might play ST's I doubt he'd be a willing participant alla Brahman. If we hadn't lost Ball I might be down, but with one of our top STer's leaving via free agency we need back ups who can be ST's aces.

I say offer a 7th for him and see if anyone else bites and if we get him we dont risk anything to get him... Worse case scenario is it doesnt happen we dont get him, or he gets into trouble here and we cut him.... Best case scenario is we get a steal for a player that need some guidance and he turns into an animal of a run stuffer for us

I also asked the Packers for the asking price on AJ Hawk and Brad Jones. They want a 3rd for Jones and 4th for Hawk.

Niccceee.... much prefer Jones (check my posts), but not at that price. If it was a 5th or below = all over it.

I know salary cap is not relevant in this form of FFMD2, but the value of a 3rd round pick is high because of production vs. cost.

Yeah I was just looking around seeing the asking price of MLB's since thats one of our needs. I am a fan of Jones, but a 3rd might be too much IMO.

I wouldnt mind giving up a 7th for McClain, but the Raiders said they wanted to a 6th or a player, and the only player I have on the block is Tate and no way I am trading him straight up for McClain.

I would be all over the AJ Hawk deal if it was for a 5th bec he would be told to do what he was best at doing and thats playing whats in front of him. He is a down hill LB that can contain his gap while cushing can be our animal all over the field
