Easily Lawrence Phillips for me.

yeah i definitely agree with this he ended the career of a HOF QB that probably could have played another 2 or 3 years if not for that injury

Kwame Harris was the freshest of hell, but how can we all not go with Lawrence Phillips?

I just remembered one. Owen Pochman! If Akers wasn't such a beast in his first season he would be on this list too.

Also I completely forgot Michael Lewis played for us!

Mike Cofer.

why?
he was a highly credible kicker for us back in the day

The first two years he was good 88 and 89 then last 4 years he was garbage. I had to look up his career to remind myself why I disliked him as our kicker and sure enough he was garbage and very inconsistent. He missed a ton of short kicks. The guy was booed a lot at the stick his last four years.. He cost the 49ers more then a few games. He sent me home wanting to burn him in effigy on more then one occasion.

Career with 49ers fg%
1988. 71%
1989. 80% ProBowl
1990. 66%
1991. 50%
1992. 66%
1993. 61%

A question was asked and he answered. Is it really that big of a surprise to you what that answer would be? Take your own advice and just leave it be.
