Traded the 2nd rounder and grabbed a pair of 3rds. Here's who I pulled in so far, I'm fairly happy, but where do I need to look now?

1.27 - Tavon Austin - WR - WVU
3.69 - Aaron Dobson - WR - Marshall
3.80 - John Jenkins - NT - Georgia
3.93 - Jon Bostic - ILB - Florida
3.95 - Quanterus Smith - OLB - Western Kentucky
4.124 - Joe Kruger - DE - Utah

Guys I'm looking at for the 5th round:

Oday Aboushi (RT)
Terry Hawthorne (CB)
Ty Powell (OLB)
Earl Wolff (SS)
Josh Evans (FS)
Nick Kasa (TE)
Jonathan Stewart (ILB)

And not a bad haul... Austin at 1-27?? Say Whhhhaaatttt???

Also, what did you trade the 2nd round pick for? (looks like 3-69 & 3-80...)

If so, well done Very Happy

re: Austin - psychotic run on defense at the top of our draft, plus a ton of moves. Austin was 4th WR off the board (Cordarelle, Hunter, Hopkins) plus Eifert went just ahead of Austin. I was targeting Datone Jones but he went to the Bengals about half a dozen picks before

re: trade - yes sir.

So Earl Wolff over Oday Aboushai ? I thought RT was a bit more of a need for you but I can't argue, I like Earl Wolff's game

I like your players chosen but think the 3rd is awfully early for Quanterus Smith due to a late season ACL injury, and seems a little early for Kruger as well since he's listed as a 7th-FA. From the prospects listed for the 5th round I'd go after Aboushi or Hawthorne, both will go much higher on draft day.

well, Quanterus Smith abused some of the best OTs in the game this past season. Kruger being a 7th/FA is nuts to me. Besides, he's a huge favorite on my board, and I knew I had to get him a round early. he ended up going late 4th/early 5th in the FFMD13 draft so if I reached, it was no more than half a dozen or 10 picks.
