It's going to be an interesting season. In classic Indians form we'll stay about 3-4 games back of the wildcard at the deadline, then collapse after.

If only we had some better pitching.....if we do get some good pitching, we could be in for a good year imo

we have a manager who might actaully know what he is doing and might know how to approach the summer stretch unlike years past.

IMO Wedge, Acta, and Manuel were not the greatest managers. Not the great motivational managers. I think with Terry he is, he was able to sell him and the team, and his outlook to free agents that they bought into the team.

I feel like past season, the team/manager were happy to be in position before they slumped.

That lineup is going to score runs. It can run, hit for average, and hit for power. They will score many different ways.

This season is gonna be all about starting pitching, simple as that

I know it was only the first game of the year but that was a big win for the Indians.

started the season at the place of a team with some of the most hype in the MLB.

Went to a sports bar to watch the game. The whole time I was there I was asking worker after worker, including the manager to change the channel to the game for me...never happened. So mad I missed the opener.

Watched the highlights though, looked like Masterson had some nice movement on his fastball tonight. Defense had some nice plays. And just from the highlights I love the attitude Swisher has. Always pumped up about every nice play that is made.
