I don't think star is in the mix. If there is a DT in our final 4 I bet it is Richardson or Floyd. From what I hear, scouts are not nearly as high on Star as the fans and kiper/mcshay are.

my guess:
1. Joeckel
2. Ansah
3. Jordan
4. Floyd

What do you hear on Star? I just don't get the Floyd love. I just don't get it. I am going to be very disappointed if we select Shariff Floyd.

Just out if curiosity, where do people see Jordan fitting in our defense? Secondly, if the love for him why not Jones or Mingo as well?

Personally, I like Mingo as well. Alot of people knock Mingo but I think if used correctly and in the right situation he could develop into a very good pass rusher. People seem to forget that he had alot of containment assignments and would have been much better served to be used in a Von Miller "elephant" type of role. That is where I see him best used - not as an undersized 4-3 defensive end like he was in college. Move him around and let him attack gaps.

Edit : I agree with bigs on this, for me it is between Star and Ezekiel. I am leaning towards Star.

Jones is knocked due to not only health, but now also poor workouts. Mingo is very Aaron Maybin-ish, in that he was very inconsistent in college, and seems to live off of athleticism and hasn't improved his technique in 3 years at LSU.

Personally, I'll take Ansah over all of them to be a penetrating DE in our defense, which is something none of the other edge rushers could project to.

If I'm going defense, it's between Star and Ansah for me. Do I want more of a sure thing at DE who can be dominant against the run, or a higher ceiling pass rushing type, would be the decision point between the two.

+ 1 million. Just say no to the T-Rex.

I think we'd love to trade back (obviously) but I am honestly thinking our best bet now may in fact be if a team like AZ is willing to give up a 3rd to move up for a LT, rather than someone moving up for Geno. Every team behind us has postured themselves to "wait and see" on Geno.

IMO, you left off Geno Atkins, which would be my #1. IMO anyway.
