God help me if we pass up Geno Smith because of this...

He's a good back-up to have, no doubt, but this FA's track record isn't good at bringing in guys like this to just be back-ups.

He better not be the starter next season. S'all I can really say.

Nix has been talking about drafting a QB for awhile now. This changes nothing. Just more competition if our rookie isnt ready day 1.

i wouldn't count kolb out of challenging the number 1 spot. I think he can thrive behind an offensive line that isnt trash.

First off, I was never one who cared for Kolb..

But that said, he has not been terrible.. In terms of statistics he is very similar to Fitzy..

Not saying I like him as a long term option.. But he could certainly be a good 1 year stop gap while we work on our rookie QB..

I would start him week 1 no doubt no matter who we draft..

So Kolb gets a 2-year, $13 M max deal with the Bills, per source.

That contract better be almost all incentives if reaching certain goals. 13 million is alot for a back up qb

Stop acting like Geno Smith is the next RG3/Wilson, to me, he's NOT..

He put up numbers in a QB-friendly spread offense, good for him .. regardless, and perhaps more importantly than what offense he played in, he had games where he still wilted and was lame, his bowl game much?

I don't think he's saying Geno will be the next RG3/Luck/Wilson.

You're opinion is clearly different, let the supporters think what they want. I for one, like him a lot. Let's not turn this into another Geno bashing thread.
