*With a draft this deep, we really can't say for sure who is going to be taken where this year. Heck, we can't do that with most drafts, especially with our GM.

Round 1, Pick 30
Desmond Trufant CB, Washington- A tall, solidly built corner for the first time in TD's tenure. No more short-stacks, we get a big, in-your-face guy who can also jump routes. I like the idea of bringing in any cornerback and having them learn under Asante. Our CB problem is bigger than a lot of people think. It's pretty much anyone's guess whether he will actually be here, however.

Round 2, Pick 62
Corey Lemonier- Maybe a slight reach, but since when does TD give a crap about what anyone else thinks of his picks(see Holmes, Bosher, Peters)? In my opinion, will turn out to be what we hoped Biermann would be when given the starting job. Great motor player which always has a place on Smith's roster. An explosive athlete that will be an absolute pleasure watching him slam Newton into the ground.

Round 3, Pick 92
Gerald Hodges OLB, Penn State
A linebacker with a good coverage pedigree as a former safety. Also a bit of a violent hitter, should team up nicely with Sean Weatherspoon.

Round 4, Pick 122
Kwame Geathers DT, Georgia
Our big ugly in the middle of the D. Should exceed expectations of his draft slot.

Round 4 COMP
Marquise Goodwin WR, Texas
Bit of a change of pace here, but a definite speedster who could take over for Harry Douglas, depending on Koetter's opinion of him.

Round 5, Pick 152
Tharold Simon CB, LSU
A big, physical corner that we need. A bit of a project in regards to footwork, can maybe step in a year from now and help both our pass D and offer run support.

Round 6, Pick 182
PJ Lonergan C, LSU- Because it's late out, so nighty night.

Nice mock, but I think Lemonier is just a bit of a reach. I actually like him as a prospect, but I don't think we need to reach for a DE if the draft plays out like this. There's a ton of depth in this class.

I liked this one a lot. Took me a little time to warm up to taking a cb with our first, but I guess I'm cool with it now. Throw in a Penn Stater for an alum like me and I'm pretty happy.
