He lions will select one of the three OTs or Ziggy Ansah if they pick at 5. Those are the only options. Willie Young might have had trouble rushing the passer this year, but he never has problems predicting the draft!

I would not mind at all to get at 5:

Fischer OT 6'6 305- Getting him to play LT will make Reiff to play RT and we have two future bookend OTs to protect Stafford and help open holes for the run game.

LT- Fischer LG- Sims OC- Dom RG- Hilliard RT- Reiff

I am very interested to see who we get in round 2-4

with the talent depth of college kids recently you can find starters in rounds 1-3 and maybe a handful of diamonds in the rough in later rounds that in the correct system can become great players

So you are saying that the Lions will draft one of four players...if they stay at five. You are bold sir.

One of 4 players picking at 5?

I will call you Youngstrodomous if you get this one right.

I just know the lions would draft Fisher, Joekel, or Lane Johnson as far as tackles go. In that order. I believe they take Ansah before Johnson. I'll put my guarantee on that.

It is my belief that we will end up with Ansah, and if we trade down it will be Cordarrell Patterson.

Well, there's still Dion Jordan, Barkevious Mingo, Dee Milliner, Star Lotulelei, Shariff Floyd, Jarvis Jones, and Chance Warmack who I would say are all in the mix too.

Of all those guys, I don't think Lane Johnson, Mingo, Lotulelei, Floyd, or Warmack will be big considerations, but there's some chance.

I feel like the most likely picks are:

1a) Joeckel
1b) Fisher

3) Ansah
4) Jordan

5) Milliner
6) Jones

Anything else would really surprise (and disappoint) me.

I think our lions forum big board pretty much shows we think and hope we go OT at 5. I do think Milliner is in play long before Lane Johnson though. Ansah is definitely a possibility as well. So if I had to pick 4 it was out of as you did, its Joeckel, Fisher, Milliner, and Ansah.

This. Though I despise the use of a top 5 choice for OT.

Has there been past predictions of the week?

I think people are sleeping on Mingo a bit to much, hes production dipped and he isnt the strongest against the run but his skill set is taylor maid for the nfl. He also already has several nfl ready deadly pass rush moves. My guess is he will be right in the discussion with ansah and jordan if not in front of them

More I think about it, the more I think Milliner will be the 1st choice after Joeckel and Fisher.

My prediction is one of,

Fisher, Milliner or Ansah. Personally I hope its not Ansah.

Yes, very much in agreement. An extra second would be very helpful in this draft.
