Wow...

This is insanely bad for Minnesota.

They move up from 23 to 9 to get a guy that isn't worth a top 10 or top 15 pick, is a bad fit, isn't a need, and that they don't want, and they do all of that with a guy that they do want, Sheldon Richardson, available at 23.

Very unlikely that Jonathan Cyprien is the Packers pick. He's more of an old school in-the-box SS, and Capers wants his safeties to be interchangeable. Given the board, Tyler Eifert [TE; Notre Dame] is the right pick here instead.

25. Green Bay* (11-5)- Barrett Jones, OC

Pretty good pick here. Although, Jamie Collins could also be in consideration here.

Quote:
26. Green Bay* (11-5) – Joseph Randle, RB

Not very good value here. Darius Slay or Travis Kelce (if Tyler Eifert wasn't picked earlier) are better values here. Stedman Bailey could also be picked here.

Quote:

Absolutely not. The kid can NOT play in space therefore he can't fit as a stand up rush linebacker. Tavarres King is probably the best possible pick here.

Quote:
26. Green Bay* (11-5) – Connor Vernon, WR

Assuming they grab a receiver earlier, odds are high they won't draft another one. Maybe go with AJ Klein here instead?

Quote:
34. Green Bay (compensatory) – Kwame Geathers, DE/DT

Decent depth here.

Quote:
25. Green Bay* (11-5) – Mike Mauti, LB

He won't last in the league very long with the injury issues, I'd grab Miguel Masonet here.

Quote:
26. Green Bay* (11-5) - Jasper Collins, WR

Probably go with safety depth here.

Laughing

I'm not even a Vikings fan and I was going to criticize this pick.

If they wants a WR they can trade #25 and #52 to New Orleans and still get Austin/Patterson(If Carolina goes Austin)/Allen. I think Patterson and Allen are better fits for them anyways.

If they are trading all the way up to #9 giving up all that, they are picking Star Lotulelei.

For the Saints:
Quote:
15. New Orleans (7-9) – Barkevious Mingo, OLB

Not a bad pick, I just personally prefer Jarvis Jones with his ability to play SLB and actual experience in coverage. If you take the trade away from Minnesota with New York to change it to New Orleans then I would suggest Sheldon Richardson then Jonathan Hankins for them. In the 2nd it would be Jamie Collins, OLB

Quote:
13. New Orleans (7-9) – Brandon Williams, NT

I really like this pick, especially if we go Jones in the 1st. If you do the trade back and give us Richardson or Hankins in the 1st just change this Bacarri Rambo.

Quote:
12. New Orleans (7-9) – Tony Jefferson, S

Not a fan of this pick. Poor speed, poor work ethic, overrated production. Give me Chris Faulk here the Saints will be looking for an OT earlier than later.

Quote:
11. New Orleans (7-9) – Xavier Nixon, OT

Have you picking the better OT in the previous round, Kenny Stills, Cornelius Washington, and Zac Dysert are all good options at this pick.

Quote:
15. New Orleans (7-9) –Travis Long, OLB

Give me Johnny Adams here. Big physical press man corner will be able to come in and provide more depth. Other option is Robert Lester.

Atlanta- Jonathan Hankins, DT, Sam Montgomery, DE, Vance Mcdonald, TE, Steve Williams, CB, Ty Powell, OLB, Tourek Williams, DE, Braden Brown, OT, Bruce Taylor, LB, Travis Bond, OG

Alright lets see here for the Falcons.

1st - Hankins = great pick

2nd - Montgomery = terrible pick - True we need a DE but if your making a realistic mock like how a GM would do come the real draft. Then Montgomery would never be a Falcon because of his off field character issues. Dmitroff has NEVER taken a player with off field issues since he has been here it's called the Falcon Filter and it's not a myth Very Happy We pass on talent sometimes even because that filter.

Replacement pick - Corey Lemonier - Still a very good talent and a guy who could help us a ton plus doesn't have the off field problems of a guy like montgomery.

3rd - Mcdonald - Terrible Pick - TE is not that big of a need and surely as heck isn't a position worth trading up for. I think you fail to realise how big of a problem we have at CB this offseason. We lost 2 starting CB's and our top depth CB in Grimes, Robinson, and Owens. We have Asante, McClain, and Franks and thats it completly on the team right now.

Replacement pick - Darius Slay - Keep the trade thats fine if ya want but give us the guy that the Raiders took at our pick as he is great value here and a MUCHHHHHHH bigger need in CB.

4th - Williams - No problem here really as we need 2 Cb's for sure in this draft with some upside. Although i personally would have went with Sean Porter the kid is a stud at LB another of our big positions of need.

5th - Ty Powell - Not a bad pick we could use some olb depth - But Porter earlier would have been a much better LB for us that could actually start unlike Powell.

Replacement pick - Devin Taylor - DE

7th round is a crap shoot all those guys are fine.

So the end result of my draft for you with the trade still staying in would be.

1st - Hankins - NT
2nd - Lemonier - DE/OLB
3rd - Slay - CB - Trade up
4th - Porter - OLB
5th - Kwamee Geathers or Devin Taylor DT/DE

Then the 7th round guys you gave us.

Now here is an even better draft for us without the trade up and where you have each player being taken.

1st - Hankins - DT - <------ 3-4 NT we need to run our 3-4 schemes/
2nd - Corey Lemonier DE - <--- Need Starter to push Biermann
3rd - Darius Slay - CB - at our original pick - <--- need starter/depth
4A - Sean Porter - OLB - <-- Need starter to push nicholas.
4B - Nick Kasa - TE - <----- Can learn for a year
5th - Keith Pough, OLB - Need depth
6th - Omoregie Uzzi, OG <--- need depth
7th - Ace Sanders, WR/KR <-- big need for us as well.

Then some fluff like RG, S, etc... for the 7th comps.

Now that would be an amazing draft for us getting us some serious help at all of our big positions of need on defense and sprinkling in some solid offensive talent thats not that big of a need right now.

He's at best Darren Sproles, at worst Josh Cribbs, neither are worth the #9 selection and even with the upside the highest he should go is #15. He's no Percy Harvin who was much thicker with similar attributes and better production in a better conference.

Bills got robbed, the Rams would be willing to give up both picks in the 1st & 2nd & 3rd round picks to get Vaccaro in this deep safety draft!
