Speculation that the Dolphins will move up in the draft to land a LT.

I certainly hope so. I would consider open mouth kissing Jeff Ireland if we somehow left the draft with Eric Fisher.

A few posters including myself have been suggesting this. I think it's a great idea. We have 11 picks, so we are in a good position to bargain. It fills the biggest need on this roster.

Side note, can somebody tell me why so many prefer Eric Fisher over Lane Johnson? I watched a few games worth of film on both and I felt that Johnson played better against higher quality opponents.

Its been said on draft countdown too....though moving up to get Fisher (who should go in the top 5 and I personally like more the Joeckle) would cost the team far too much....Johnson on the other hand may only cost the team a 3rd to move up and grab.

I prefer the idea of moving back (Hi Minnesota) and possibly landing 2 1st round picks...

I would welcome it buffalo and the jets are at 8 9 would that be a possible move being both are in division or is buisness just buisness

Judging where Lane johnson goes is kind of a wild card I could see him lasting to 11 so jumping to 10 would be cheap but arizona and jets are possible landing spots.

Fischer and joekle would not come cheap but both are worth it and I like fischer better

I prefer Fischer but I have had a man crush on johnson for months so cant go wrong to me. I do think Lane johnson has the most upside of the 3

I'm a big advocate of using a 3rd to move up for Lane Johnson. It seems like a very common sense move. Draft picks are very important, but it seems like everybody is maybe too attached to them. Using hindsight, in years past, wouldn't you have given up a 3rd rounder to move up for a better player?
