The dead money ($46,359,889) will be off the books. The 2014 CBA cap will be roughly 125M. Our cap number w/o signing our draft picks of 2013 is $38,395,683. Not sure what the 2013 draft class will cost, but we should have in the neighborhood of 75-80M to spend. Not sure what the floor of the CBA is 50M?

Re-sign the guys you must have (Veldeer, Reese, DMC, and Houston), then cherry pick the league (Cushing, Mack and Graham) and have an excellent 2014 draft. (Clowney) <BANG>

I would like to see our own guys re-signed (except for McFadden)
The only FA I want to see them go after is Alex Mack. That Oline would look pretty darn good. Veldheer-Wiz-Mack-Nix-Watson

Where will the money go?

If there is no serious fall back in Jared's play, which I can't see, he will recieve a nice long term deal. LT money, so you need the cap space.

Houston will probably get a long term deal too, if he keeps up the good play. High LDE money here...

Jano is still a weapon and has some years in him, so I think he will get a solid top5 K deal.

Marcel Reece could get a nice deal as well if Olsen utilize him weel this season and Olawale/Rivera can't show similar stuff.

If Ford comes back healthy and plays well he could be in line for a nice 3-4 year deal as well.

DMC could be in line for a solid deal if he can stay healthy enough and don't want mega deal.

Tracy Porter or\and Mike Jenkins could get a deal if they\one of them shows starting potential.

Walker and\or Sims could be also in line for a deal. I see us bring back Vance if he shows he can start and be effective.

Adams and\or Chekwa is similar situation.

Usama and\or Ross could also be in the mix if plays well at FS.

That's a lot resigning!!!

After this you can expect 1or2 bigger FA signing and some depth guys as well. Add the Rookies and that's it...

Potential FA signing (for the big signing):

B.J. Raji DT
Morgan Burnett S
Hakeem Nicks WR
Jon Asamoah OG
Michael Johnson DE

This is what will happen.

Regardless of the cap space, the design will be the same. Take care of their own players and build through the draft.

Reggie is never going to be involved in a FA spending spree. The great teams build through the draft and in bargain FA signings.

Packers, Giants, Ravens, Pats. This is the mold.

Case and point. Ravens signed Canty, Dumerville, Huff and Spencer all for the same cap space as keeping Boldin. That smart business.

While I agree that we wont go on any huge spending sprees, that doesnt mean that we cant sign a big name here and there. I dont expect us to be going dream team on anybody, but I can see us taking care of our guys and adding a semi big name next year.

Re-sign those 4 dudes and bring in Golden Tate and Michael Oher, and I'd be on the Reggie-For-President bandwagon.

Like others have said already RM will not be a big spender in FA, instead he'll take care of those in house and build through the draft. JV, Houston, Reece & maybe McFadden are all in line to receive nice paydays, but i think the Raiders need to be competitive this year. My guess is that either JV or Houston are prime candidates for the franchise tag if a long term deal cannot be reached.

I would like to see one of the FA signings perform well and get signed to a long term deal. Guys im pulling for are: Walker, Porter, Jenkins, Adams, & Young. Any of those UDFA from this year or last I hope can fill out the PS and ST's on the active roster.

Some big FA names I would like to see be signed (combined with what I think RM would do):

MJD - California guy who's looking for a fresh start, plus Greg Olson was in JAX with him
BJ Raji - not realistic, but I think we might have an outside chance
TJ Ward - Not sure Cleveland lets him walk away
Hakeem Nicks - Same as Ward, but these two would greatly improve this team.
Greg Olsen - Veteran to help all our young TE's

Overall I expect RM him to sign maybe one big FA but no more. These guys I listed are probably more of a dream but I hope we can sign MJD, draft a solid RB and let him learn from him. I doubt MLD & DMC can share a backfield so it would have to be one or the other.

He was my #1 choice when we ended up taking DHB, I would love to get him in silver and black.

I wanted him too, but I knew speed would be an issue for Al.

"We're not going to macy's."

I expect us to resign most of our players and a few middle tier guys, as usual. I highly doubt we get into a bidding war over ANY player, that is just not Reggie's philosophy.

So Raji is possible. GB isnt going to get in bidding war either and has a lot of money tied up in Rogers and Matthews.

Other than that yes I see a couple mid tier guys.

Maybe we won't be going to Macy's because we'll be going to Barney's. Wink

Like others have said resign the players RM wants to keep.

Oak will only have 25-35 players on roster so there will be a lot of new players again.

Maybe Reggie brings in one big name payer.
