I certainly hope we can get a draft pick for him. Is he due a roster bonus? I know Green Bay was interested in him last year, and niners need a backup as well...hmmmmm

I think he would be a good fit in New Orleans, backing up Brees. I think Colt could benefit and develop into a quality backup under the mentorship of Drew Brees. Let's face it, Colt got a crap hand dealt to him here.

We may hang on to Colt until training camp.

I could see this coming before we brought in Cambell.

It always helps to have a backup that you don't have change the scheme or emilinate plays for. Now with Weeden and Cambell, whoever wins the job, the script won't change for the backup if he has to play.

He's due a $187K bonus (not sure if it's been paid yet or not), but his base salary for 2013 escalated from $540K to $2.35M. This happened because of escalators in his contract due to playing time and other factors.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/browns-quarterback-colt-mccoy-added-1-75-million-194838554--nfl.html

There is literally no chance of him being on the Browns roster when games start. No team is going to pay their 3rd QB that much.

As I have said before, it will be a miracle if we get a draft pick out of him. I'd take a 7th at this point, and call it a win.

He'll be cut, not even worth a 7th to any other team at this point. Such a shame, had high hope for him coming out in the WCO.

Cut him and kick him in the nuts on the way out. He is not worth a 7th rounder and even though I'd like to rip off another team I wouldn't want to put the through in McCoy or his family's head that he is worth a 7th rounder.

I was pissed when they drafted colt. Could have had Aaron Hernandez, Jimmy Graham... Etc. all players we were clamor in for.

For what possible reason would information like that be leaked/revealed?

Fie! Fie! It was Stuckey's fumble that killed the only meaningful sustained momentum the team has had in years.

Stuckey is the devil!

You just ruined my morning.
