The most surprising thing is that 92.3 and 850 joined forces to beat out Clear Channel. I don't mind whomever is broadcasting as long as Jim Donovan is the voice.

Big News for sure... Hope they replace Donovan... God bless him for what hes been through but ive never liked him at all. Hard for anyone to reach Nev Chandler status for me.

I can't fault you for not liking Donovan because of Chandler giving him such hard shoes to fill, but that being said, I'll always be a Donovan supporter. Yeah, he can get a little too excited at times, but the same goes for Tom Hamilton, and I wouldn't trade him for the world either.

you always here about best athletes who never won a title...

Hands down best announcing trio to never win a title:

Chandler / Tate / Hamilton(Score)

Well.... technically Joe Tate has. He also calls football games for my alma mater, Mount Union. Wink

Dave Lapham is the worst announcer I've ever heard. His homerism makes Captain America feel like Al-Qaeda

Will the affiliates be affected by this? Radio is my last case scenerio if the Browns aren't on tv and big brother shuts down my internet feed.

Since moving to WV, I have always been pleasantly surprised that a local radio station airs the Browns games. It is Steeler country. Stupid Steelers.

I sometimes mute the television and turn on the radio to listen to the commentary because the radio guys are good, the national tv guys suck.

So WTAM no longer has "all the balls"?

Kind of surprising they would let that slogan go!
