Not a fan.

At least you know what you are getting with Campbell. Quality back up, solid spot starter and a long term starter option if you aren't serious about advancing in the playoffs.

Would it be completely wrong if we asked his wife to remain a Browns fan?

Sorry to disappoint, but I have called for this pickup repeatedly.

Campbell will beat out Weeden in a fair competition, and McCoy will still be around.

Campbell, when healthy, is a solid QB but nothing special. If Gordon and Richardson keep on getting better, I think he could win some games for Cleveland if Weeden falters.

Chud on Campbell in news release: Jason is an established leader who has started a number of games in this league and has had success.

Dont think this will be a "fair" competition. Lombardi has made his opinion of Weeden well known. Hope im wrong. After this move, they might have to put Lombardi in a witness protection program. Just wish Weeden is given one year in a system that fits him. where he doesnt line up with 6 seconds on the play clock and has time to read the defense. Time will tell. But i think this spells the end of McCoy.

Great!

I'm going to predict that McCoy gets traded to the 49ers.

They have a hundred draft picks and are actively looking for a backup qb.
