If Available, does the new regime select Geno Smith at 6?

Mayock and Kiper think Smith isn't even a top 10-15 candidate. I would be shocked if he doesn't go top 3.

As much as I don't like weeds I would rather have him than Smith....that is just how bad our QB situation is.

If the browns think Geno is franchise then yes, they draft him.

Mort has him top 7 lock, and graded very high. Others have him graded high as well. He has been very impressive in his personal workouts with other teams from the sounds of it.

If the browns don't see him as a franchise level QB, then hey will pass.

Did we all of the sudden forget how he crapped the bed in bad weather games, which he will see plenty of if we draft him?

None of the experts that i have read believe his and the teams poor performance had anything to due to weather. There are many valid points to critique his and team overall performance, but that's not really one of them.

I hope so. If they take Geno that would say boldly that we know who our quarterback is going to be for the next 10 years at least. We need that Franchise guy and I'm not sure Weeden can bring that to the table. Geno is a better prospect then Weeden so we have that reason to bring him on. You do not get the chance to select a franchise QB very often Geno has all the makings star quarterback. Athletically he fits the bill, he has the experience along with the combined youth, and his flaws are correctable especially with the coaches we're going to put around him.

I think Norv can make this guy into the next Phillip Rivers at least. I trust if Chud drafts this guy our offense will rise to new levels. I'm not sure what would happen with Weeden, but if the chance to bring in a franchise guy is there you have to take it.

Then it would be manditory for us to trade down pick 6 and pick up another 2014 1st.

Otherwise, we won't be able to afford it barring about a 4-12 finish.

Zero chance the Browns draft a QB at pick 4, or trade up for a QB.

And Matt Ryan is so great he has one playoff win.

We are winning 9 games this year, book it.

We won't be in position to grab a top QB, but Weeden's emergence will allow us to put it off for awhile anyway.
