I simply can't envision the Vikings passing on both Keenan Allen and DeAndre Hopkins for Justin Hunter. Not only are Allen and Hopkins better receivers and prospects than Hunter, but they both fit better into what the Vikings like to do on offense.

I thought about that at GREAT length, TRUST me when I tell you, but.... you guys got Jennings. Hunter offers a vertical/red-zone threat that the others just can't match.

I'm still not slam dunk convinced MIN goes WR in the first round.

I'd go:
#23 - Marcus Trufant, CB, Washington
#25 - Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina

Take argubly the best 2 defensive players on the board, at positions of concern for the Vikings. There will be WRs available in the second round that will fit.

Love Trufant the player, don't like him in the Vikings scheme.

Hate, HATE Justin Hunter, but I know there are other Vikings fans who like him.

I would prefer DeAndre Hopkins or Keenan Allen (in that order).

Well to add on to the Vikings comments, I don't mind either pick, CB for me is harder to see in the first round than Hunter in round one, I think there are still major question marks as to what order the WR's go, and I think that Patterson and Hunter might be the first two taken just off of upside.

HELLO, my old Gnat friend! Very Happy Good to hear from you again. Wink
I actually would've gone DT instead of CB in the 1st, but with the depth at the defensive tackle position in THIS particular draft, I figure you all can get a solid one in the 2nd. My humble opinion. Cool

Huge reach, can't pass block. Keenan Allen there.

What if he were to be made an offensive guard?

Love Floyd, don't know if he'll be there at 13, but would be a good fit here.
