I am glad to hear the Lions are bringing him in later tonight and tomorrow! He fits the bill and i think he would take the top off the defense and fill titus youngs shoes and then some thoughts?

I would rather have Domenik Hixon, Better hands and can do returns.

Hopefully the Lions are using Darius Heyward Bey's visit as leverage to get Hixon to sign.

"Free agent WR Domenik Hixon "received an offer" from the Lions, but is holding out for a better deal.
Detroit made Hixon an offer he can refuse. That could change as early as Wednesday, but the Lions shouldn't be Hixon's only suitor. He's just unlikely to get the money he's looking for. Hixon would be a nice addition to a Lions receiver corps that was terrible in 2012 aside from Calvin Johnson. Mar 12 - 5:23 PM"

That was so long ago that I think both parties just moved on.

Hixon can barely even be called a part-time WR. I'm not enamored with either, Calvin needs a legit threat opposite him so they can really take this offense to the next level.

Yes He's a #3 or 4 WR but offers more versatility than DHB, It's short term fix.

He's still a FA so it's still a possibility, plenty of time left. Apparently he hasn't found a better offer at this point.

1) Sign DHB
2) Draft McCalebb
3) ????
4) At least Madden is fun.

Rather have Brandon Moore, but DHB could help us I guess.

I say this would be a good pickup if cheap. One thing DHB has is speed that has to be respected, and really with Megatron, Bush abd the TE's, that is really all the Lions need on the other side. Team can't afford a "legit" starter on the other side right now. DHB or even Ginn on the other side would be fine for this year.

Perfect replacement for Bryant "paddle hands" Johnson.

I agree, that's my concern as well with DHB (his hands) Last year he seemed to do better but didn't see to many of his games.

Yeah, this would be different though.

DHB has big time athletic ability.

He wont come in and be our #2 like Johnson was.

He wont get anything near the contract Johnson got either.

Again, if we make a signing soon I hope to god its Moore.

I like this. He doesn't have great hands and definitely hasn't lived up to being the #7 overall pick, but he's big, fast, pretty young, and will probably be fairly cheap. We would have no shortage of speed if we were to sign him, that's for sure. Maybe he'll surprise, who knows.

DHB definitely has speed and while his hands are suspect, he hasn't exactly had stellar QB play in Oakland either. I do think he's worth a chance if he comes in for cheap.
