I like it for KC.

Would rather have one of the other OT's if we choose that route.

Only other pick I'm torn on is Bray. Maybe a DL or safety there unless we pick up a pick for Albert to use on one of those.

Great overall effort. Not the flashiest bengals draft, but I like it. In the third, i might be tempted to take Matheiu over Alford for return abilites alone.

Lack of high-graded CB concerns me but the overall draft is fairly solid.

I'd prefer a CB in rounds 1-3 although it's a deep class.

GFW..... we drafted a similar player to Austin, last year, in T.J. Graham. A better first-round pick than him would be ANY of the following:
Patterson, Warmack, Cooper, Lane Johnson, even Eifert, and that's just off the top of my head.

I think you have pretty much nailed it for the Browns in this one. I could easily see that first pick at 6 being a number of different guys such as Jarvis Jones, Xavier Rhodes, Star or Chance Warmack but I like Ansah and can see him being the pick.

How is TJ Graham in anyway similar to Tavon Austin? I really respect your opinion, but I believe hes a better prospect than the others you mention especially with the way the league is going running more option concepts. Id be much happier lining up against Corderelle Patterson, with his rawness as a route runner than Tavon Austin who has a number of ways to hurt you.

Great overall effort. Not the flashiest bengals draft, but I like it. In the third, i might be tempted to take Matheiu over Alford for return abilites alone.

Passing on Vaccaro is tough for me

Solid Vikings draft, I don't love drafting a S in round one, but I can see it being possible. Also, Vikings have the Seahawks 7th from the Bills in the Percy Harvin trade.

I think he just means that both are on the short side but are blazing fast. That said, I don't think Buddy would take him in the first. He's always been pretty honest about the type of player he wants, and on the WR front, he currently wants a tall, fast receiver.

As for the option part, I don't think it's wise to be coming into that a year late to the part with defenses across the league working on how to shut it down, and without a QB who can match the level of those who made it effective.

And as deep as WR is, unless Nix really falls in love with a big, fast WR prospect, I think he fills one of the other holes, where I do believe there are prospects better than Austin available.

Simply because he'd get JACKED at the line of scrimmage. The guy's a midget, compared to N.F.L. #1 WR's.

Pretty much what you said.

This would be a very disheartening draft for the Vikings.

In the first round going with Kenny Vacarro, although not a bad pick, isn't a very prudent selection. The Vikings can easily get by with what they have at safety, and if your set on secondary help for the Vikings, Desmond Trufant would be the more logical choice to replace Antoine Winfield. However, if I were making the call, I'd be selection Hopkins, who's a great pick, with the 23rd pick, and I'd draft Jesse Williams with the 25th pick. Williams is a perfect fit into the Vikings' defensive line, as they've desperately been needing a big run stuffing and block eating presence since Pat Williams left. Jesse Williams would make life a lot easier, not only for Kevin Williams and Jared Allen, but also for the linebackers who struggled getting off blocks last season.

In the second round the Vikings simply cannot pass on Kevin Minter or Sio Moore, after letting Jasper Brinkley leave via free agency, middle linebacker is the most important position on defense for the Vikings to fill. Ideally, I'd like to see the Vikings trade up a few spots and grab Manti Te'o, but if that isn't possible, then I'd like to see them draft Sio Moore. Although Moore is listed as an outside linebacker, he has the strength and size to slide inside, and his athleticism makes him perfect for the Vikings and the Tampa 2 style defense that they run.

In the third round, despite adding Greg Jennings via free agency and Hopkins in the first round, I'd have a hard time seeing the team pass on Aaron Dobson. However, I think the best pick here for the Vikings would be Dwayne Gratz. Gratz has the perfect build and is exactly the type of cornerback that the Vikings love for their defense. He is a well built and long corner with plenty of athleticism to excel in the Vikings zone defense, and with the loss of Winfield, the the Vikings need to find a solid corner for the outside.

In the fourth round the Vikings need to start looking at the offensive line, especially at guard, where the Vikings starters are average at best and their depth isn't any better. I think players like Alvin Bailey or Brian Winters would make much better choices than Webb, who really doesn't fit what the Vikings like in their cornerbacks. And between Winters and Bailey, knowing the propensity that Spielman seems to have for Arkansas players, I think it's safe to assume that Bailey would be Rick Spielman's selection. With the second pick in the fourth round, J.C. Trotter is an okay selection, but I would rather see them take Khaled Holmes, a solid center who could be a reliable backup to John Sullivan.

I wouldn't have any issue with Taverres King in the fifth round, but I think this is where the Vikings start looking at developmental quarterbacks. Matt Cassel essentially signed a one year deal to backup Christian Ponder, but that still leaves the third quart back spot. Joe Webb showed that he is not a backup and after three seasons, he really can't be considered a developmental player. I like the idea of adding Zac Dysert here to compete with McCoed Bethal-Thompson as the teams third QB, and potential long term backup.

I don't know all that much about many of the players in the sixth and seventh rounds, so I'll defer on those picks. But I will say that I love the Brandon Magee pick in the seventh, he's on my sleeper list. And the Vikings have Seattle's seventh round pick, from the Harvin trade.

In short, my preferred draft through five rounds;

1st - DeAndre Hopkins
1st - Jesse Williams
2nd - Sio Moore
3rd - Dwayne Gratz
4th - Alvin Bailey
4th - Khaled Holmes
5th - Zac Dysert
