2.) David Amerson, CB, N.C. State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
40 Time: 4.44.
Projected Round (2013): 2-3.


3.) Devin Taylor, DE, South Carolina
Height: 6-7. Weight: 266. Arm: 3.08.

Projected Round (2013): 3-4.


4.) Michael Buchanan, DE/OLB, Illinois

Lol. Do you have a better late round option that could back up Eli down the road? Carr will get this year but I can see the giants draft one to put on the practice squad for a year.

Try Sean Renfree- Duke or Brad Sorensen- Southern Utah. Any QB that they would draft late for development needs to have enough arm for a vertical based pass attack. Honestly, I think teams are evaluating Klein as a TE/HBack more at this point.

I just don't really see that as being the Giants' M.O. The way they treated Ryan Perilloux, the front office has zero intention of ever drafting a late round QB with "succession" in mind, and since the team is generally always in contention for the playoffs I don't think they will ever NOT carry an experienced backup.
