Way too high for Vaccaro.

I think a lot of us need to do some more homework.

Vaccaro will be the best safety from this draft class.
Maybe, but I don't believe he would be the best selection for us at this point in the draft. Trufant and Rhodes should definitely be higher on our draft board.

I dont think he should be taken at 5 but we're creating a big board. If it was my board he would be about my 6th best overall.
1. Fisher
2. Joeckel
3. Milliner
4. Warmack
5. Ansah
6. Cooper
7. Trufant
8. Rhodes
9. Jordan
10. Patterson
11. Vacarro

The fact that we just signed Quin, who isn't exactly the most physical safety and is better in coverage than near the LOS gives me pause when it comes to adding Vacarro. I think there are a few other more rounded safeties I'd rather add to this defense instead.

I think you underrate his ability against the run. Its no where near elite level but his coverage skills are superior to the rest and more than make up for it. Our board would actually be the same until Cooper. Cooper would be my 9th overall and I would have Rhodes over Trufant and Jordan no where near my top 10.

This must be where we disagree.

As is, Vaccaro to me, will be about average at the run in the NFL. He makes some big plays, but is very reckless.

And while his man skills do appear to be top-notch, I havent seen anything that would suggest hes a good center fielder.

I think Elam will be a better pro, but I wouldnt even have him this high.

Sorry for the delay, had a busy day yesterday.

I went Trufant here. I think he is the second best CB, and is the best combination of need and talent of those remaining.
