Great signing. Iirc this guy was really good, just couldn't stay healthy. Briggs-DJ-Anderson could prove to be a very good LB trio.

I remember he used to be a fantastic player, but I don't know much about him lately, but I think he's a good addition to our corps.

If he is fully healthy he is a great fit at the SLB spot.

I still hope we draft a LB in the first round. I really want Brown.

Just the opposite, he's an average LB, but was our most reliable in terms of injuries in the past 3-4 years, he was the only one in our trio to not miss a game. He's a good posistion player, but do not expect him to take over games or be a huge impact player.

Rather go Warmack/Cooper/Fluker and then look at Jon Bostic or Khaseem Greene in Round 2.

Looking less likely. I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd, now.

Yeah I thought about it some more and I think I was thinking of Thomas Davis.

Wow. I don't mean about the signing of Anderson, but just the signing of a LB in general. Now it looks like we can pull a real surprise pick, and/or definitely a trade down. With the cost of trading up a lot lower than the past even with the number of picks, do you see Emery trading up to grab a guy like Warmack if he makes to picks 13-17? I mean we might give up 2014 picks instead of given up a lot for this year. Maybe our 1st, 5th, and next year's 2nd for a first to grab Warmack and another 6th rd pick. With our signings it looks like Emery is building good to great depth to grab a Blue Chipper like Warmack. Just speaking theoretically.

I think this makes CB a more likely option at 20 now if any of our top guys aren't available.

Dont be surprised if thats a route Emery goes. Honestly I dont believe OG is as high on their list as some of you might think.

This is great. The last three years when he's been healthy he's been a reliable guy. But whats better is we really have given ourselves flexibility in the draft. If there is a big playmaker there at 20 and we can't move, we can go for it at this point, I think. And really, I think that's what Emery is trying to do. I believe he knows we have fundamental spots that need work, but wants to add at least one "wildcard" of sorts on offense, another weapon for Jay, similar to last year, with Jeffery. I'm really happy with this signing and the impact it will have on what we can do in FA. IF we could somehow sign a G as well, that would be fantastic.
