Jarvis Jones had an awful pro day. He ran like a 4.92 forty. Now I know the 40 is overrated but my God. When you see him on tape he looks more like a 4.6 guy so is it worth the gamble if he falls to 18 which could be very likely now? Just hope you get the guy on tape not the guy at the pro day cause all his workouts sucked not just his 40. He looked stiff and slow Confused

Pending a medical check, I would not be apposed to the idea (although I am kind of against a 1st round LBer). But the talent is there.

Jones - Lee - Carter would be a hell of a unit.

If Jones lived up to the potential he has it would be by far the best 4-3 LB core in the league. I think if the big 5 o-lineman are gone, the top 3 dt's as well as D.Jordan, E.Ansah, K.Vaccaro then maybe Jones would be the bpa and deserve the pick...

It's definitely going to hurt his stock, but I still doubt he drops to 18. Should he be there though and Dallas were to pass, think I'd have to throw in the towel for a while.

You know, Courtney Upshaw saw a decline last year in stock. If he fell to the bottom of 1, I'd trade up.

If the Cowboys clear him physically, and he is available at 18 and is your highest rated player on your board take him.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

There is no doubt that Jarvis Jones is a difference maker. It comes down to his health for me. He is no Von Miller, but he could have some success at the same position.

Sometimes you have to state the obvious. We all get caught up in analysis paralysis at times and play what if scenarios. Teams simply have to trust their board. That doesn't mean we are always going to hit but I think you have to trust in that methodology.

He is no V.Miller for sure but what if he could be very similar? Think about how much pressure we could put on the qb with Ware, Spencer, and Jones if he is even 75% of a V.Miller. (Removed by MOD)

I think if a stud like Jarvis Jones even gets close u try to swing a deal to move up a few spots to nab him...like 14...ahead of the Saints(or even 13 if the Bucks trade 13 to the Jets) but only at a reasonable cost...like a 4th...are u kidding me...this D with Spence and Ware....Jones Lee and Carter...Mo and Carr...WoW...My Grandma could play DT or S and nobody would notice much..LOL..

Peace

There is no way Jarvis Jones is a 4.92 player. He's far faster than that.

I'd be very weary of him in the first round. He has an injury that shortens careers by a bunch of years. I like the player a lot, but I hope he gets selected before #18 and pushes someone else down.
