Got to love a fan thanking a punter.

Ofcourse we will thank one of the best players at his position in the entire league history for doing great things with absolutely terrible teams around him. Never complained once and was always a reliable player.

I would hope not, hes a punter... Imagine having a diva punter on your team?

We don't need to:

Lechler deserves a ring. Hope he gets one with the Texans. At least he'll get to play in the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

The Texans are loading up to Win Now. They need to make the playoffs.

I think its a good move for them. Lechler is still a very good punter and should be a huge help on Special Teams.

Honestly, this is the first Texans punter I know of. Have the Texans had anyone good at this position before him?

Honestly, Lechler could help them a lot. The extra little bit that offense will have to go will help their defense some IMO.

I'd take my punter being a diva if he was as good as Lechler. The Raiders ought to have two punters in the HoF once he retires.

Donnie Jones was good last year in the regular season, but poor in the post season.

Before that Kubiak had an infatuation with Matt Turk.

Good signing for the Texans. Definitely an upgrade over Jones.

We don't need to:

Is he y'alls new punter? If so that's pretty cool! I don't think i've ever seen a black punter before in pro, or college ball for that matter.

Reggie Hodges as well.

Apparently he's the first black punter not called Reggie, though.

One of the best punters in the game, Lechler should be a welcome add to the Houston franchise.
