I want Sio Moore, OLB, Connecticut in the third round.
The kid can play.

As a Connecticut resident and HUGE Uconn fan, I would love this pick. The kid is a gamer. Tough tough kid. Ball hawk. Tackling machine. Pretty solid in coverage. Can get after the quarterback. Extremely hard worker. Strong and physical. The kid will be a very solid NFL LB.

+1. My favorite player in this class. But he's going in the 2nd round.

Agreed. I can't see him falling that far at all.

Yup. If he does would be a steal.

Only guys that I'd be happy with at 3 are

1. Star Lotuleli
2. Dion Jordan
3. Eric Fisher
4. Luke Joeckel
5. Lane Johnson

If we trade down, then it gets interesting

Great video on Ansah. Kiper, McShay, and Polian are in love

I dont really listen to what Kiper and McShay say much. However I do respect what Polian has to say.

What's funny is people will pile it on Floyd for rising up draft boards and talk about the media hyping him up. But Ansah went zero to hero in the blink of an eye w/ limited production in college and nobody seems to care.

He's shot up my board. But that's more due to my changing perceptions as I analyze the draft and prospects than anything else.

Well Ansah is clearly better physically. Clearly creates more pressure. Has shown ability to learn quicker. Really they made about the same amount of mistakes from what I saw its just the Ansah has played less and improved more. If there were not questions on Werner(reached ceiling), Moore(off field), Carradine(injury) he probably would be pegged towards the latter half of the first or early second. I think its more about what Polian said on that video. The reasons he will fail are things that can be taught and he has shown to be a a quick learner thus far.

With Floyd on the other hand I can clearly see that Richardson and Star are better.

The only thing I hate about Ansah is his age. He is already 23-24, I much prefer younger prospects. (Bergstrom killed me last year).

How far do you think y'all are willing to trade down (from a practical standpoint)?

I don't see us going further down than 20 at most. Mostly because Reggie has spoken about taking an impact player. You can find those (well, the closest thing this draft offers) even in the mid teens.

As long as Reggie gets offered a deal he deems fair, he'll consider it. If he thinks its the best move to make that will help the Raiders the most, then he'll make it. That is one thing I'm sure of.

I don't see Reggie trading outside the top 10 unless Miami gives up a lot for a tackle
