Many problems with this....

A) Urlacher isn't and never was a 3-4 ILB. I don't see a lot that would me think he could handle it.

B) He hasn't played a full season in the last 2 years

C) His best attribute (speed) has faded.

D) He wants more than 2 milion a year.

E)

Indeed.

*quick antidote.....A cousin of my wife got married about 5 years ago. The wedding was in Chicago as that was where they were from. It should go w/o saying that they were HUGE Bears fans. Anyway, during the reception (and after a few cocktails) I got into a heated debate with the groom about how I felt Urlacher was overrated. It just so happened that Foote had very similliar stats to BU that year and in fact posted more tackles. You can understand the dismay of many a Chicagoian. How some Southerner could come to their house and make such an argument. Eventually family members had to step in and "break us up". In case you were wondering, yes I'm reminded of it at every family function. Just for you Larry. Just for you.

where would he play? ILB is 94 and 50, but maybe 54 could be maybe quality depth? What happened to the cap problem. I can't see him getting paid low enough to fit under the cap. Or perhaps they plan to move timmons to OLB again Idea Why not, they already have taken a step back with willie at CB, why not try 94 at olb again?

Bring back 92

LMAO.... your posts amuse me.

how so? Did you like the willie comment, the timmons try again at olb or 92 back on the team?

Urlacher on Dan Patrick yesterday. Highlight of the interview, for me, is when he said no thank you to the prospect of being a Raven. He even laughed at the idea and said their whole defense is gone.

Always respected him and will continue to do so wherever he ends up.

he would replace a goodell hater quite well IMO Idea A back up but solid depth and leadership. Aperfect way to cap off his career, but I don't see a championship atm Twisted Evil

Im not sure.

Everyone has there own experiences with shoes.

I had a pair of Adidas' when I was in the military that tore up my feet and gave me shin splints. A friend of mine swore by the same exact pair.

Or maybe Nike has improved...Im not sure.

Anyway, it was just meant to be a funny comparison. In my situation it fits, but to others, maybe not.

Because different shoes fit people differently. They all can only hold so many miles as well. I run in Nike's, asics do not fit my feet.

So it all depends on the person, just like the player depends on the system

Urlacher is a corpse that isn't going to play for corpse money. So we shouldn't be bothering with him at all.

Nike's are usually a bit wider too, though not sure about Asics.

Umm, thats pretty much what I just said.

But in this case' the system has little to do with why I dont want Urlacher. He simply isnt that good anymore and is declining. Not saying Foote is better, but he isnt worse at this point and we know what we are getting with him.
