Obviously it's my opinion but I also get the sense from media analysts that have some pull, that Milliner isn't necessarily a top 10 pick, he's just regarded as the surest of the bunch this year.
Heading into the combine many had him just outside the top ten.
After his blazing 40 he looked like a lock but he also had pretty poor testing in the drills compared to the rest of the field.

CB is a deep position in this draft. Here's how I'd rank them and the round they're expected to go..

1. Dee Milliner (1)
2. Des Trufant (1)
3. Tyrann Mathieu (3)
4. D.J. Hayden (2)
5. Jordan Poyer (3)
6. Xavier Rhodes (1)
7. Jamar Taylor (3)
8. Leon McFadden (4)
9. Blidi Wreh-Wilson (2)
10. Jonathan Banks (2)
11. Robert Alford (3)
12. Logan Ryan (3)
13 Dwayne Gratz (3)
14 Darius Slay (3)
15. B.W. Webb (4)
16. Marc Anthony (4)
17. Nickell Roby (5)
18. Steve Williams (5)
19. Will Davis (5)
20. Brandon McGee (6)

I'd take anyone here before the 5th as a solid #2 guy opposite Haden.

And a 3/25 big board

1. Luke Joeckel OT
2. Eric Fisher OT
3. Shariff Floyd DT
4. Lane Johnson OT
5. Geno Smith QB
6. Sheldon Richardson DE
7. Jon Cooper OG
8. Chance Warmack OG
9. Dion Jordan OLB
10. Star Lotulelei DT
11. Arthur Brown LB
12. Tavon Austin WR/RB
13. Ziggy Ansah DE/OLB
14. Dee Milliner CB
15. Keenan Allen WR
16. Bjoern Werner DE/OLB
17. Tyler Eifert TE
18. D.J. Fluker OT
19. Datone Jones DE
20. Kenny Vaccaro S

I like the offseason moves so far but it's amazing to me that we haven't made any significant moves on offense so far. IMO that's what the problem was last year. If we sign grimes, I think we should trade back for or just take tavon Austin or warmack @6. Take your pick IMO both are going to be great players. If we don't get grimes, I would like guard/austin and corner in rounds 1&3. The order doesn't matter. It could be warmack and poyer or milliner and winters. as long as we get 2 starters idc. As long as they get it right it doesn't matter to me.

We still need, roughly in order of priority, a CB, FS, OG and TE.

Not to mention a K, P, KR and PR.

Oh, and of course, a QB! Very Happy

id agree with all of those except for KR and PR. I think Benji's gon light it up. That being said we have players at OG who are serviceable, and potential at TE, and what I think could be a good marriage between Weeden's arm and Chud's downfield love.

agree with mistake here, but Im not sold on weeden. He is going to get his shot so hopefully he makes the most of it.

im not sold on anything except for Joe Haden, Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Ahtyba Rubin, Mitchell Schwartz and Phil Taylor. I'd like to think I'm sold on Richardson, Gordon, Sheard, Little, Desmond Bryant, Paul Kruger, TJ Ward, D;Qwell in the 3-4, Gocong's Achilles and the rest of the team, but I'm not.

Mathieu the third best CB in the draft and before Rhodes? Truth time.... please tell me you're not Michael Lombardi, because if you are, I'm finding a new team to support right away.

Really? This isn't Browns specific, it's an overall BB.

Mathieu reminds me of Brent Grimes. (pro bowl CB)
Rhodes reminds me of Gary Baxter. (overrated quasi safety)

I can do that too...

Mathieu reminds me of Snoop Dog (both are well known for having affinity for the chronic, neither have played any official football in the past year)
Rhodes reminds me Aqib Talib

Give me a little more as to why they remind you of those people... I don't mind the conversation, but I need a little more to go off of.

I'm not even sure Milliner will make it to Cleveland. If Cleveland stays where they are at, I see two things happening.

1) Detroit Drafts Dee Milliner.
2) Buffalo Trades up with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire Geno Smith (or the Raiders)

This is just an outsiders view, but I don't think that drafting Geno Smith is in the best interest of Cleveland. They have done a good job in Free Agency and I believe that if they do not get Geno Smith, there is a really good chance they get EJ Manuel. If they don't get Geno Smith it's going to allow them to sure up another spot in their roster. LB Perhaps in Dion Jordan or Ansah? Perhaps Xaviar Rhodes (I think that'd be a really big reach)

If it were me and it's not, if Milliner and Smith are off the board I'm trading back with someone who wants Jordan or Ansah or another one of those top 10ish guys. Then I'm taking a WR. I know you have Gordon and Little but how sold are you that they are your #1/#2 WR's? Really I mean...really how sold are you? This would also give you leverage to trade up and acquire EJ Manuel later.

Listen, I'm a Steeler fan so I hope stuff goes sour for you Razz but I'm trying to look at it logically, if I were the GM, I'd do what I could to add as much quality potential as I could. You're not far off, unfortunately, from being a serious threat in this division.

LMAO...I was going to say the SAME thing after reading the thread.....Seeing Arthur Brown rated over Ziggy Ansah, Dee Milliner, Kenny Vaccaro and Tyler Eifert........LMAO!!!!!!! not to mention according to this Arther Brown is the best LB in the entire draft......not to mention according to this list decided the nations sack leader last year is not a top 20 tallent....

I would question, did the person who made this list, actually watch ANY college football last year...or just a bunch of Kansas and WVU highlights....

I'm not calling him the best LB, I am calling him the best ILB prospect in this draft imo. But for the rest of your comment about that list that was posted...you're 100% spot on.. lol

Rotoworld/NFL.com's Josh Norris is becoming a respectable draft analyst and his bb is pretty similar folks...
