This would never happen because the Falcons have way too many needs on the defense but just for a second, imagine the Falcons selecting Austin with the 30th overall pick. How do you even stop that offense?

QB: Ryan
RB: Jackson
WR: White
WR: Jones
SWR: Austin
TE: Gonzalez

Upgrade at RB not only in the sense of running the ball, but Jackson actually provides a threat in the receiving game as well. Then you bring back Gonzo, the best tight end to ever play the game, and add Austin, an explosive player who would see all kinds of open field with this supporting cast.

How do you stop that offense? Is it even possible?

The only thing I can think of is pass rush being able to stop it, but every single person on that offense (including an O lineman) can catch a screen pass... So, I have failed your challenge.

Edit: oops. Hawley never actually caught those balls, but both our backup tackles have recieving touchdowns in college or NFL...

i would be ok with this as long as no one got hurt then out scoring everybody because we have no d would be tough. All of our games would be 42-35 type games!

College football thought here... Handoff to Jackson, toss to Austin, reverse to Julio. Jackson, White, Gonzo, and the right side of the line already downfield blocking...

Honestly I think getting Swope 1-2 rounds later would be just as good IMO. Swope is the freaking man!

I will be fine with a lot of picks. Really anything but QB (and FB, P, K, LS lol) will be fine in my book if the value is right. Tavon at 30 is good value..

that would be so crazy..... lol i cant even imagine what opposing D coordinators would be thinking trying to prepare for us. Laughing but our offense can score. we need DEFENSE we are paper thin @ DE and we need a big body DT (300+) to clog the middle, basically our whole Dline needs work (Babs is the mainstay but he is getting older). We also need a CB. Defense, defense, and more defense. Swope or Sanders would be nice in the later rounds.. i just don't see us spending our first round pick on a WR (clearly our biggest strength is our receiving corps)......but hey crazier things have happened..

You wish. He will be gone at the latest if early 4th. I expect him to be a 3rd rounder..

If you think he will be there at the tail end of round 5, that is insane lol!

Swope is the rawrst. Love him, but he's not on the level of Austin.

Btw, I'm not actually proposing Dimtriff does this. Just more of a random thing to ponder on the start of my spring break. I love me some Tavon.

Swope has a history of concussions which should be more scary than the spine condition of Jarvis Jones.

Both are possible career enders... One is more controllable than the other though..

Naw. We can just buy him a couch and a PS3 for the sidelines to make up for it.
