While we ignore DL, I think that draft would be very good.

Agreed. Pretty solid draft, but does get a sizable knock for ignoring DL. Have to pick up one somewhere in rd 1-3.

Give me Williams Schwenke or Jones over Bernard

I think terrible is an exaggeration. Bernard is an excellent RB for us, and great value in the third. While not my preference, it would be a good pick. I lose heart with our 5th round pick - but honestly if my biggest gripe is in round 5 I can live with that.

If they switch Bernard for either Barrett Jones or Schwenke, it would be a solid draft. D-line would still need attention as well.

If they switch Bernard for Schwenke, it would be a near perfect draft.

like it very much but if not benard. ill take lattimore. seen benard play alot he solid between the tackles and outside and very good receiver out the backfeild. under stand holloman. cb a little iffy. espically with dl need and not to mention they were looking at baylor wr too.

Jonathan Cooper and Chance Warmack will be gone by #18. DJ Fluker would be a reach. I see the Cowboys trading down unless they want to take the best S in Vaccaro who ran a 4.63 40.

No Trades Version
18 - Tavon Austin WR West Virginia
47 - Terron Armstead OT Arkansas-Pine Bluff
80 - Joseph Randle RB Oklahoma St.
114 - JJ Wilcox S Georgia Southern
151 - Bennie Logan DT LSU
185 - Eric Herman OG Ohio

It's highly unlikely we address every need in the draft. Just to take a DL player, even though you like another player better, doesn't make sense. I hear all this preaching of BPA, well maybe the mocker is following BPA

That. Would. Be. Awesome.

Great players with excellent value the top 3 rounds.

I'm looking forward to see where the top 3 rated safeties goes come draft time, I don't think they will go as early as everyone thinks. But there is a lot of teams picking before us in the 2nd round who needs safety help, so I fear we won't see one of the 3 best safeties drop to us.

I'm not that determined to pick D line, BPA is much better. I expect to see a rotation of Hathcer/Crawford/Spencer on LDE (with Spencer playing OLB when not DE) and Hatcher/Liss on one of the DT's.

I highly doubt both OGs will be gone by 18. They always slide in drafts.

LOVE the first three picks! I think OT is a top need though, so that would have to be the 4th pick at the latest. I like Bernard, but I would be willing to wait a rd to grab another RB, and use the 3rd on a RT.

I personally only like the 1st pick. I do like Bernard but I am sure there is DL there to plug in there to help our defensive line rotation.
