When athletes go to Miami in the offseason, bad things seem to happen.

Normally, they happen after 3am. In the case of Bears TE Evan Rodriguez, he was hitting the clubs a little too hard and according to CBS Miami was arrested for resisting arrest.

He was released on $1500 Bond.

I'm sure there HAS to be another charge... how can you resist arrest if you weren't getting arrested in the first place for something else? Confused

I believe the same thing happened to Adrian Peterson last year.

And he was completely exhonerated.

I can't believe E-Rod, who is in Miami to train w/ Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, & Martellus Bennett was out boozing it up.

I guess he isn't very good at resisting then.

Bad move by Rodriguez. Does this affect him in the long run?

arresting charge is disorderly conduct. The charge for resisting is stated as resisting arrest w/o violence.

My guess is both charges are eventually dropped, and this means nothing.

Why are you surprised? That group of knuckle heads were probably training for Oktoberfest.

Funny, he didn't want "all that media stuff", and had he complied he wouldn't. But because he acted like that, now he does.

There is nothing that screams, "There is no 'I' in team" like riding around with a bunch of drunks at 5:30 am and acting like a fool. Judging by his past...and his present, he is just an accident waiting to happen.
