Note 1.0: Dimitroff signs Osi before the draft; Grimes signs with Tampa Bay.

***Atlanta trades their 2013 1st and 4th round picks to Buffalo for their 2nd and 3rd round picks***

R2: Jonathan Hankins / NT / Ohio State

R2: Alex Okafor / DE / Texas

R3: Sean Porter / LB / Texas A&M

***Atlanta trades their 2014 2nd round pick to San Francisco for their 3rd round pick (earliest)***

R3: Robert Alford / CB / Southeastern Louisiana

R3: Gavin Escobar / TE / San Diego State

R4C: Kiko Alonso / LB / Oregon

Don't mind these girls. They're just celebrating the pick.

R5: Chris Harper / WR / Kansas State

What? Harper used to play for Oregon? Well then...

This time with a southern twist for Kansas State.

R6: Rod Sweeting / CB / Georgia Tech

R7: Mario Benavides / C / Louisville

Note 2: The last three players are apparently uncool and don't have a picture. I apologize.

R7C: James Wilson / OG / Florida

R7C: Javon Harris / S / Oklahoma

R7C: Seth Doege / QB / Texas Tech

Note 3: In before (Player A) won't be there at that pick. This is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory, especially in the first three rounds. Anything is possible. Lots of really good players are going to fall. Attempting to predict which ones will fall is nearly impossible.

Because Buffalo's picks are 41 and 71. We have the 30th pick. People make it seem like we have a top ten pick when we don't. If that trade were to happen we would have 41, 60, 71, and 90. You can pick up some quality players in those picks. We are basically giving up a 2nd and a 5th.

To add onto this, the difference between the 30th and 41st pick isn't much IMO. Unless a really good player falls, I think it's smart to trade down and add an extra pick in the first three rounds. I believe Dimitroff will be able to get a player of equal value at 41, if not the same player he would've taken at 30. The difference, on the other hand, from the Falcons' fourth and Bills' third is pretty big. Buffalo makes this trade to land their QB of the future.

BTW, I always try and take players the Falcons have shown interest in. I should've put an * by those players.

Hankins
Porter
Sweeting

I like it. Good on depth and fits needs. I would probably go OG earlier because I just don't know about Reynolds, but I'd be happy with this draft.

Now this is a falcons mock draft. Bro you nailed it this time. I would give this daft an A+ if it happened in real life and TD could pull it off.

You went front 7 early and often then grabbed 2 talented secondary players to compete with the 3 talented guys we already have. While still grabbign one of my fav. TE's in the draft in Escobar for fair value.

I know you said don't post if I don't think players will be fine by a certain pick, so I won't. We can just say I see 3 or so guys I'm 99% sure won't be there at the pick Wink

That being said I really don't think trading down is realistic either. Also don't see us signing Osi...

All that said, I'd be really happy with this scenario...

I like it a lot. Only question would be why two backers, especially one early. Nicholas and Spoon played very well last year and are pretty much entrenched as starters.
