Darren Urban ‏@Cardschatter 2h
Bruce Arians: "I'm not a fullback guy." Wants to use two tight ends. Doesn't sound promising for Anthony Sherman.

So any chance they trade Sherman Now.

No-one is going to trade for a fullback. He will either be cut or make the roster based on ST's play.

Don't think Arizona could get a 7th for a good young fullback

He does present value as a special teamer and has caught some footballs. He will need to make the team based on that value.

Whether that is as an additional running back, purely special team player, or something else.. he'll realize that and do what he can or be released and go to another team.

If he was a pro bowl caliber FB he could be traded for but he isnt thus far.

You have to think we'll pick up a TE somewhere in this draft. A guy that can be moved around. If it's early (rounds 2-3) give me Travis Kelce. If it's a day 3 pick, give me Chris Cragg.

TE's that I like: Travis Kelce, Jordan Reed, Dion Sims. These are guys that can be had in that 3-4 range

Sherman is going to have to make an impression. Prove he can catch some balls.

Eh I'd rather just cut ties with him then try to convert him into an H-Back. He can block there's no doubt about that but I'd rather go with a guy who can already run routes and catch well but can't block. Blocking is probably easier to develop than receiving skills. Can you imagine Sherman moved around from H-Back to slot TE? I can't.

Double TE is the current fad.

We are going to have Housler and whoever we draft, really we should take 2 TE's one a receiver and another a blocker to help this team.

Sherman is good as gone.

I like Sims, said it many times before and that other Stanford TE, whose name escapes me (not Ertz)

Depending on the player blocking can be tough, look at our RBs.

Who knows, I believe he is RFA next year so I can see them playing him next year and see if he fits what BA wants a little more.
