The Rules
1. I will have 10 members from you to choose from each and every round.
1.02 Understand that because every single individual on this planet isn't listed - your player may not be included. Feel free to PM me or gather up a groundswell of support as to why player X should be included in the next round. I welcome suggestions.
2. This is a Big Board. Should we do BPA then I am almost asking you to forsake need.
2.02 Now, with that said - if a player does not fit the team either because of character or scheme don't vote for them.
2.03 You almost have to ignore what we may or may not do in Free Agency. This is a ranking of the best players for us in the draft.
3. Forget about WHERE we are drafting. That can change. Make this an exercise in purism. Simply rank the players.
4. Participation is great. Post. Vote. Debate. Cite sources. Convince & Inform.
5. If you feel someone should NOT be on the poll. Please PM me or post it here. I will consider removing them from future lists.

Dallas Cowboys Big Board

1. Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
2. Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah

6. Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
7. Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
8. Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina

10. Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
11. Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
12. Ezekiel Ansah, DE, B.Y.U.
13. Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
14. Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
15. Barkevious Mingo, DE, L.S.U.

Fluker is not a 1st round prospect.

While debatable, I think you would agree that there are not always 32 individuals with first round grades on them. If I recall, Dallas tends to have 18-25 first round grades on players.

Voted for Allen. Though I'm not as high on him as some others, I feel he is the best player available here.

This draft doesn't have anything close to 32 players who deserve 1st round grades. In my opinion, this would be the group of guys who should have 1st round grades:

QBs - 0
RBs - 0
WRs - 1 (Keenan Allen)
TEs - 1 (Zach Ertz)
OTs - 3 (Luke Joekel, Eric Fisher, Lane Johnson)
OGs - 2 (Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper)
C - 0
DTs - 3 (Lotulelei, Floyd, Richardson)
DEs - 2 (Bjoern Werner, Dion Jordan) (no, I don't consider Ansah a 1st round pick)
CBs - 2 (Dee Milliner, Desmond Trufant)
S - 1 (Vaccaro)
LBs - 1 (Jarvis Jones)

That's only 16 players. In my opinion, the rest of the guys from that point through the end of the second round all pose close to equal value to each other.

I agree with Plan in most regards - this class (and most) usually only have 15-20 players with a first round grade. Often those without a grade in the first get selected in the first based on need (QB's for example). After that 15th or 16th player, the value drops and from 17-60 there's very little difference. That's why I would be a huge advocate of trading down and acquiring another 2nd or 3rd round pick.

I pretty much don't like any of the guy left on the board so this is hard to judge for me. But as T.O7 said just pick the best available player left on the board not looking at our own needs so it has to be Xavier Rhodes.

Guy is expected to go top 15.

Without looking at the poll, I'd make sure these guys are added eventually:

Datone Jones
Kevin Mitner
Desmond Trufant
Jesse Williams
Sylvester Williams
Jonathan Hankins
Matt Barkley
Jamar Taylor
Manti Teo
Sam Montgomery
Eddie Lacy
Jordan Poyer
Zach Ertz
Alex Okafor
Barrett Jones
Brian Schwenke
Travis Frederick

And this is the kind of draft where those additional 2nd and 3rd round picks become gold. It's so weak at the skill positions and so strong at the "supporting role" positions that teams can create incredible dominant lines virtually in one draft if they focus their resources (and are seated in the right draft spot) in that area. In my opinion, this is why I'd be aggressively working to trade Spencer. Not just because I think he's a poor fit, but because of how quickly the team could improve overall if we used those new picks appropriately.
