Not many people can say that their backup QB had a 24 TD-16 INT ratio last season..

People forget that Fitz actually earned a $60 million contract a couple seasons ago before taking a step back.

The fact that we haven't heard the terms of the deal yet bodes well for the Titans. Usually, if an agent is proud of the deal, they release the terms immediately to boast about what they can get for their client. But .... silence so far... Smile

Agreed and if Locker isn't 100% at the beginning of the season I would rather have Fitz starting than Hass. Good signing, have we heard how the money looks?

I wouldnt say that Fitz "earned" that deal. They gave it to him, yea...but he was not worth that much money.

We have not heard anything about Hass new contract with Indy either. Usually Irsay is blowing up twitter with his online ramblings about his free agent acquisitons. Rolling Eyes

Matt's deal was 2 years, 8 million.

In terms of QB money, he was playing like a guy worthy of that price. 41 touchdowns, 22 INTs, 63% completion, 7.3 YPA.. those are above average starting QB numbers.

Uh, yeah... I'd be elated if Locker approaches that production level!

Funny to think that during Vince's short stint in Buffalo, the Bills likely had the players with the lowest and highest, respectively, Wonderlic scores on the same roster in VY and Fitz.

2 years, $6.5 million. Very fair deal for a quality veteran backup.

Considering the deal Hass got, a great deal!

So is that it for Locker? Or is Fitz the backup? I really liked Jake and wanted him badly in Jacksonville

Fitzy is purely the backup. Just a pretty good backup.
