As expected, no bonuses on #Vikings' deals with Adam Thielen or Brandon Keith, per source. Minimum salary benefit deal for Keith.

Keith's cap hit should be around $715,000 then. Thielen's deal probably has the same base value as that of the other undrafted rookies, $410,000.

With nine draft picks, including three first-rounders, the Vikings reportedly have the NFL's seventh-highest rookie salary pool for 2013 -- a maximum first-year cap spend of $6,849,789 and a minimum of $6,310,060.

The players selected in those spots last year received deals that were to count $6,714,929 against the cap in the first year, with $12,819,716 in signing bonuses and $36,333,170 in maximum value.

The Vikings were $7.428 million under their adjusted salary cap entering Tuesday.

I hope to see a new deal for Robison or Allen here soon to get a few extra million to sign Urlacher.

With 4 million likely to be available after rookie signings, we would most likely have enough to sign Urlacher without making such a move.

Perhaps it can go towards Everson Griffen then Smile

I would personally love that. I'm unaware of a time when the Vikings recently handed out a long term extension leading up to camp.

Greenway signed his deal on Sept. 5, 2011 Might be the closest to leading to the regular season.

I could see Griffen being a target if they can get the cap room to make it happen.

Co-sign. Extending Griffen (or Cook) would be a much better use of the money than signing Urlacher.

Urlacher would probably cost less then what it would take to get Griffen extended. I would guess that his deal would pay him around $4-5M per year.

As for Cook, i think the Vikes really need to take a wait and see approach. Good player when active but that hasnt been often enough.

Completely agree. Part of me thinks he needs to play at least 13 games before any discussions of returning begin. Then again, if Rhodes takes over as top CB like I think he could, a return could be even less likely, unless it comes at a bargain price.

Lockeís contract should be worth about $2.34 million with a signing bonus of about $184,000, according to the slotted system of signing draft picks. Bacaís contract should be worth about $2.25 million with a signing bonus around $94,000. Bondís deal should be worth about $2.22 million with a signing bonus of about $63,000.
