Sounds about right. A lot of posters overestimated what they thought what we'd get. But reality is last year's net loss wasn't that huge of a loss compared to who we signed. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

Like i said, the only mistake was not counting Wheeler based on his reported vet minimum contract which wouldn't have been enough for him to qualify.
But
| Quote: | Joel Corry @corryjoel
@OmarKelly @ProFootballTalk Philip Wheeler's bet on himself paid off. He made $1.75M on a 1-year deal in '12 after earning $750k in NLTBEs. |
added to his playing time and a player like Jason Campbell not playing much probably canceled out a comp pick. _________________

I have a feeling that we can still come up with a player that can play well at that spot. _________________

Honestly didn't think we would land a pick at all. Delighted. _________________

I fugured it would be a low pick. But being a top 3 drafting team I thought we would net a pick at the end of the 7th too. _________________

Bah, it was Brisiel's bloated contract that ruined the soup. No biggie I guess though. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |
