Right guys ive taken a great deal of time in thinking about this offseason and im happy with it so here goes.

Notable Losses
Ray Lewis
Matt Birk
Anquan Boldin
Paul Kruger
Dannell Ellerbe
Ma’ake Kemoeatu
Ed Reed
Bernard Pollard
Bryant Mckinney

Key Needs
ILB
FS
SS
LT
DE/OLB
TE
WR
C
DT

New Addition FA Signings:
Chris Canty, DE/DT- 3 years - $8m
Marcus Spears, DE- 2 years - $3
Michael Huff, FS, 3 years - $11
Karlos Dansby, LB, 3 years - $11.5

Draft day Trades
Ravens Trade pick #32 to the Dolphins for Picks #54 + #77

Ravens Draft
Pick #52 - DeAndre Hopkins - WR - Clemson (6'1 & 214lbs)
Reason: Boldin has gone and its left us with some what of a hole at WR. Hopkins is by far BPA and if it wasnt for off field issues he would be taken a lot higher. Hopkins Gives Joe another Legitimate weapon. Smith, Hopkins, Jones, Pitta & Rice. SCARY RIGHT?

Comparison: Roddy White (FALCONS)

Pick #62 - Travis Frederick - C/G - Wisconsin (6'4 &312lbs)
Reason: With Birk Retiring We have a bit of a gap there and while granted we do have Gino Gradkowski who has looked good in his limited playing time, i just cant see how we wouldnt select Frederick. He has good Versitility to be able to play Guard and Center and can be a starter from day one and be a stable of our line for the next decade.

Comparison: Jonathon Goodwin/ David Baas (SAINTS/GIANTS)

PICK #77 - Jamie Collins - OLB - Southern Mississippi (6'3 & 250lbs)
Reason: Kruger went as we all expected and we will need a replacement, we have Upshaw but we also need someone who can get after the quarterback and having Collins Opposite Suggs will give quarterbacks something else to think about. This pick could change if we Bring in a Free Agent Pass Rusher.

Comparison: Manny Lawson (EVERYWERE LOL)

Pick #94 - Oday Abushi - OT - Virginia (6'5 & 308lbs)
Reason: I dont want Oher at LT!!! and We need to keep Osemele at Guard. The Oline was pretty darn spectacular in the playoffs and if we dont bring a LT in through Free Agency and Mckinney isnt resigned Aboushi would be a steal at #94 Aboushi Osemele Frederick Yanda Oher is a very good young Oline that Would give Joes $120.1 million pound a$$ a bit longer to throw and some holes for Rice to Run through.

Comparison: Andrew Whitworth (BENGALS)

Pick #129 - Leon Mcfadden - CB - San Diego State (5'10 & 193lbs)
Reason: Ok Granted its not a huge need but BPA and with no assurances about Webb's Knees Mcfadden is a small corner but competes like hes taller. Not afraid of contact and has pretty good ball skills.

Comparison: Brent Grimes (FALCONS formerly)

Pick #130 (4th Rd Comp) - Earl Wolff - SS - North Carolina State
Reason: Reed gone Pollard gone. Not a good start to this offseason but with the additions of Huff and Wolff things could be a lot worse. Sound Tackler Locates and plays the ball in the air well.

Comparison: Chris Crocker (BENGALS)

Pick #165 - Kevin Reddick - LB - North Carolina (6'1 & 243lbs)
Reason: Im sure a lot of you guys will want to see a Linebacker taken a bit earlier but i think with the signing of Dansby its not a Huge need as long as mcclain is able to carry on playing. Reddick is probably more similar to Ellerbe than Ray but were still getting great value and with the right coaching who knows how good he could be.

Comparison: David HARRIS (JETS)

Pick #168 (5th Rd Comp) - Kwame Geathers - NT - Georgia (6'6 & 342lbs)
Reason: Im not completely sold on Cody and while adding another nose tackle might not please some of you i think its excellent value and theres no denying Geathers is a big body upfront. He can be a force to recon with up the middle and will let us give Ngata a rest every now and then.

Comparison: Casey Hampton (Steelers)

Pick #199 (From 49ers) - Corey Fuller - WR - Virginia Tech (6'2 & 204lbs)
Reason: BPA is the main reason. But there is no doubting the tallent is there for him to be a late round steal.

Comparison: Darrius Heyward-bey (Raiders formerly)

Pick #200 - Michael Williams - TE - Alabama (6'6 & 278lbs)
Reason: No Ravens Draft would be complete without Ozzie selecting someone from Alabama. Michael Williams while mainly being a Blocking tight end he is still able to catch the pig skin. Having Williams at the end of the Oline is like having an extra Lineman anyway. Im sure Rice would be happy with this pick.

Comparison: Matt Spaeth (Steelers)

Pick #203 (6th Rd Comp) - Joe Kruger - DE/OLB - Utah (6'6 & 269lbs)
Reason: Depth signing once again, but its still nice to have an elm street around the place to give quarterbacks nightmares (no pun intended)

Comparison: Jared Odrick (Dolphins)

Pick #238 Quinn Sharpe - P/K - Oklahoma State (6'1 & 189lbs)
Reason: A kicker, a kick off specialist and a punter. A jack of all trades a handy player to have on the roster incase of injury and to put pressure on Koch to see if he can get back to that nearly pro bowl level he was once at.

Comparison: chris Kluwe (Vikings)

Pick #247 (7th Rd Comp) Zach Boren - FB(LB)- Ohio State (6'0 & 250lbs)
Reason: Boren not only is he a very good FB and would allow us to look at Leach and the possiblity of Moving his high cap (even tho leach is one of my favourite players) but Boren also played Linebacker for ohio state and did it at a decent level. A Versitle player to have as the last pick for the 2013 draft.

Comparison: Korey Hall (Packers formerly)

Please leave your comments as there greatly appreciated. I thought about everything so let me no what you really think Laughing

Not a fan of moving down 22 spots for an extra 3rd round pick. I think moving down is a possibility though.

I've already said I don't like Hopkins, but that just personal opinion so I can't fault you there. Value wise he's not a bad pick if he falls that far.

I like Frederick, but I really believe Gino is our guy at center. I don't think we'll draft a pure center that high, nor would I want us to.

Really like the Collins and Aboushi picks.

Love Williams as the 3rd blocking TE, also a fan of Kruger and Reddick.

Don't know much about McFadden.

What off-the-field issues does Hopkins have? I'm definitely missing something.

Not a big fan of the trade, don't think we get enough value in return with it.

Love the Hopkins pick.

Not a big fan of the Frederick pick -- think he's a great player, but I think we could find better value at more pressing positions than G/C there.

Don't see Collins lasting that long, personally. Same thing with Aboushi.

Don't know much about McFadden or Wolff so can't comment.

Don't think Reddick will last that long.

Like the Geathers pick for depth.

Like the Fuller pick and the Williams pick.

Definitely don't see Kruger lasting that long.

Don't know much about Sharpe but the jack of all trades thing doesn't interest me -- if we need a punter, I'd be focused purely on that.

Don't know much about Boren but I like the position.

I can't see any scenario where we would make 13 draft picks. There's no way, even with all the roster churn, that more than 7 of them would have a legit chance to make the roster, so a trade down would absolutely be the first of many moves in the early-mid rounds to acquire quality rather than quantity.

As to the actual selections, I like the choices of Hopkins, Collins and Reddick, but I think the draft positioning of Aboushi, Collins, Reddick, and Kruger is optimistic.

Drafting an interior OL in the 2nd round is redundant considering that we used 2 selections to stabilize that area last year and Reid could end up at G too. We can get a vet backup at C later in the draft.

I also don't like the use of a pick to select a guy to be competition at P, it just seems like a wasted pick, even that late. An UDFA for a camp leg seems more likely.

Finally, I also wouldn't give Dansby 3 years at anything close to that much money. He's already 31-32 years old, and I'm not sure he's better than what we could get in the draft at this point. 2 years, $6-6.5M is more realistic if we want to sign him, but anything more and I'd move on.

Here are my two opinions on this mock.

1) Hopkins won't make it close to #52.
2) Colilns won't fall into the 3rd round.
