Not really.

Miles Burris was projected by many coming out of college best suited for the 3-4 ILB position. Burnett and Roach are both capable.

Possible alright. If we sign another LB it will make it a bit clearer what way we are going, I certainly can't see us going 3-4 base if all we have are Burris, Roach, Burnett and cousin Rock. I certainly hope not anyway. Not to mention are lack of a NT.

Burris played OLB in the 3-3-5 scheme at SDSU. He was essentially a 3-4 OLB who strictly played at the Line of scrimmage. Not sure if I'd ever put him inside.

My money's on a 4-3 defense. Burnett and Maiva will play in the nickel. It'll just be a big rotation at linebacker all year. Still like to see Omar Gaither retained.
