Quote:
Though the Bucs, so far, have pulled off just one big deal during free agency, they have been involved in lots of conversations conversations about Darrelle Revis, about possible free-agent signings and about assorted trade proposals.

The latter includes talks about running back LeGarrette Blount, who is known to be among the players the Bucs are attempting to move.

Why not keep him to back up Martin? He's shown he's an effective runner for them and it's not like he's eating up a big contract. If Martin were to ever get hurt....wouldn't it make sense to have him around?

Didn't they almost cut him before the start of last season? Good luck with that.

They've been trying to do this. No one wants him.

Chip Kelly did coach him but with McCoy, Bryce Brown, Pol, and Lewis we won't trade for him. But maybe if he were cut.

@Andy_Benoit

#Bucs are reportedly trying to trade RB Blount. That'd be a lot easier to do if he were any good.

He's not versatile enough for the type of offense we run.

But we got a sixth for Rejus, so anything's possible.

just cut him so the Raiders can sign him, would be a nice complement to DMC...and is capable of carrying the load if #20 goes down...again!

Good luck trying to trade a player everyone knows you don't want and will most likely cut. I'd like to see him back with Chip, although I'm not sure it makes sense from Philadelphia's standpoint.

He was good when Olson was his OC. That's why the Raiders seem to make sense. We have 2 7ths.

Because he's ineffective at far more things than he's effective at.
