If Star checks out medically, he should be the pick. I think we pick Smith though.

I also think if Jacksonville doesn't either pick him or facilitate a trade where a team picks him 2nd then we will. But nothing at all would surprise me I don't think.

Star would be good because he fits in any Defense we're trying to run.

Trade down if possible (seems unlikley)

If we stay at the pick its Milliner or Flloyd then one of the tackles.

You gotta go OT's first then everything else later. If not trade down and get multiple CB's because there isn't much separation between them all.

Meh, I don't want a CB top 5, and I only want Dion if we plan on using alot of 3-4 looks.

Thankfully I think there is little chance we draft Dion Jordan now.

If we trade down there maybe a chance I guess but not at #3 for me. Too much of a high risk/high reward type pick for us I think.

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked.

Even in a trade down I think it's unlikely. We'll go base 4-3 and with our signing there just isn't much need for him. Allen saying he feels the tempo is set in the trenches is also a hint that he wants to go for DL. If we trade down and every else we like is off the board he might be the pick.

I take it you don't see Jordan as a pass rusher that could play RDE/OLB in a hybrid look then but more of a SLB/WLB in a 4-3 which makes sense tbh.

With the attention on the defense in FA I am still (at this point) hoping for Fisher.

He could, but it seems a wasting picking up Burnett. I certainly can't see him at DE, not unless he bulks up a lot. His best position will be OLB in a 3-4 and if we are going to run a 4-3 base it doesn't make much sense to play him out of position for the majority of time. If he was Von Miller good I'd be happy to take him at #3.

Why not? If you had a feeling a guy could be the next Revis would you pass on that in the top 5 just because he's a CB? I honestly see a lot of Revis-like potential in Milliner.

Again, I have to ask why? He will be an elite pass rusher in the NFL. He can play 4-3 DE and OLB in some hybrid situations. He is quite the physical specimen. Like JPP or Aldon Smith.
