Hello Raider nation. I am trying to update my latest mock. The raiders have many needs. Trying to pin down what direction the Raiders will go if the following scenario occurs.
Kansas City drafts Shariff Floyd
Jacksonville Jaguarus drafts Jarvis Jones
Rumors have the Raiders cutting bait with Carson Palmer and drafting Geno Smith. I am curious to know what Raider nation thinks.

I truly have no idea who we are going to pick or if we are going to trade. I'm praying we don't pick Floyd but see him and Geno as the most likely picks right this second.

I LOVE that I have no clue who we are going to pick. It makes the draft so unpredictable and so much more exciting. Hell, the top pick is barely determined although Joeckel is looking solid there.
Obviously, like every other warm-blooded mammal that likes football, I hope we trade down but that's not exactly the easiest thing to do. Fingers crossed.

I have been strongly against the idea of taking Floyd. But if we were to switch to a 3-4 having him and Houston as our Ends would make our OLB's crazy effective. Both would provide agility, strength, and command more attention then a typical 3-4 end should warrant. Floyd is growing on me in this context.

yea i have no clue what direction we are going in the draft.. we have filled LB needs but still have the need of OL, DE and CB so we can still obv go any direction, i just hope no geno smith.. not a fan of that idea at all, id rather see how pryor does |

Haha don't make trade down an option... everyone is just going to pick that.
Obviously I'd like to trade down as well... but if we have to pick at number 3 in that scenario I would take Dee Milliner. My second choice would be Dion Jordan.

I haven't seen anyone in this draft referred to as a "franchise" QB. So NONE of the warnings and red flags bother you? When was the last time a QB taken in the Top 10 with so many question marks developed into a "franchise" QB?
