This one will raise some eyebrows... Confused

If we trade down (I like the trade, but it's unrealistic), Ogletree would never be the pick. He's a late 1st rounder at best. We'd be moving down to select Patterson or Keenan Allen, possibly Jarvis Jones if he's there.

Most people know my thoughts on Mike Glennon, he's the riskiest QB in this draft next to Tyler Bray. I will be one angry person if we draft him.

After that though, I like the selections. I prefer we draft WR earlier than 143.

Whaley & Nix must have a plan for Wide Receiver. In an ideal world, it would be to make a major offer to RFA Denario Alexander. Unfortunately, I bet the Chargers would match. But thats the position on the roster that really lacks any clarity. After non-tendered Donald Jones & David Nelson, the major UFAs have all signed.

I agree with Nick. A reach for Ogletree even on pure talent. Add in his off the field issues, and I wouldn't even take him with our second round pick.

Agreed.

Also, maybe it was just a slip up, but if not, why draft Mauti at all if you don't believe he would make the final roster over a few UDFA's?

To me, Glennon, Bray, Geno.. All are significant risks..

Why not take the risk on the guys with higher upside? Glennon and Bray are bigger guys, more traditional QBs, and have stronger arms..

I like the idea of trading down, getting extra picks and getting a solid defensive player.. then if we really like a QB, trade back up to get him..

If we trade down to 16, and then back up to 32, I'd rather take Barkley at 16 and Te'o at 32. Personal preference, but I like those guys better at their respective positions.

Then I'd take the best available WR at 71.

I like all the rest of it though. You put some good effort into this, nice job overall.

All three are stay in the pocket kind of QB's. Geno actually has the athleticism to leave it however.

Glennon is the riskiest is what I said. They are all definitely risky QB's compared to RG3 and Luck last year. I feel safest with Geno, Barkley and Wilson.

1) Geno Smith

2) Matt Barkley
3) Tyler Wilson

4) E.J. Manuel

Everyone else.

I'm a huge Ogletree supporter. I think he's a more athletic version of Jerod Mayo. An instant impact Linebacker in the middle of the Defense. Mike Pettine had David Harris & Bart Scott in NY. Ogletree is a true 3 down player that will ideally complement Mario & Lawson.

Hate this draft and hope this never happens.

Also not sure why people like RFA Denario Alexander so much. The bills will not go for him. If you didn't know Denario was on bills roster and was useless so why trade a pick for him doesn't make sense.

I don't think he was. The Bills gave him a tryout back in September, but never signed him.
