Albert Breer‏@AlbertBreer
As @joereedy reported, Rey Maualuga's headed back to Cincinnati. Deal is for $6.5M over 2 years, signing bonus close to $2.5M, per source.

WLB: Ogletree
MLB: Burfict
SLB: Maualuga

I can live with that.

I can, but we really need another LB that can cover.

No way. Ogletree is not a tackling machine which is what our WLB position needs to be. There's a reason why Thomas Howard and Vontze lead our team in tackles from the WLB position. I'd rather have the following:

WLB: Arthur Brown
MLB: Vontaze Burfit
SLB: Alec Ogletree, <some vet LB>, Rey Maualuga

Ogletree is perfect for our SLB position. He would be a bad fit for our WLB position...

No way we draft both Brown and Ogletree after signing Rey

Eh, that's not too hateful imo, $3.25 mil average for a starting SLB where he was solid playing at his first couple years in the league. He just couldn't handle the middle.

You're probably right but Olgetree if we draft him should play SLB for us. Coverage is his strength not raking up tackles. Hopefully we can do something like this:

WLB: Thomas Howard
MLB: Vontze Burfit
SLB: Alec Ogletree, Rey Maulauga

I hope Rey can get his confidence back and be a decent LB for us. Not holding my breath though...

If we take Ogletree, Zimmer will have a field day moving guys around spots because they all have played multiple LB spots. We never got our Adaleus Thomas type, but this could be fun.
